Baking Icelandic THUNDER BREAD in an Oven (Cooks in ONLY 8 Hours!)
Jared's Junk Food: Icelandic Thunder Bread in the Oven
Recently I posted a video about Icelandic thunder bread, which is traditionally cooked with the earth. In this episode I try to recreate it with an oven.

Abstract: I will report on the results of my recent work with Dmitri Yafaev (Rennes I). We consider functions ω on the unit circle with a finite number of logarithmic singularities. We study the approximation of ω by rational functions in the BMO norm. We find the leading term of the asymptotics of the distance in the BMO norm between ω and the set of rational functions of degree nn as nn goes to infinity. Our approach relies on the Adamyan-Arov-Krein theorem and on the study of the asymptotic behaviour of singular values of Hankel operators. In particular, we make use of the localisation principle, which allows us to combine the contributions of several singularities in one asymptotic formula.

Webinar: Rounding and approximation: Uses in real life | Maths Week series
In this webinar Mary looks at how rounding and approximation can be used to make everyday calculations simpler, and data easier to understand. She also shows some practical examples used in real life, showing why being exact with figures is not always the optimal way to do things!
Vegetable Pakora | The Best Spinach & Potato Pakora Recipe
I love Pakoras especially when they are crispy and crunchy, and when I take my first bite and they are super soft and fluffy on the inside. Pakoras are not only eaten on special occasions, but can be enjoyed any time of the day and my perfectly spiced Spinach & Potato Pakoras are a wonderful accompaniment to a hot cup of chai, or as a starter for a nice meal for guests.
Make these to enjoy with family and friends, during a meal, as a snack, or as a festive feast served up during the month of Ramadan, these will go down a treat.
