How To make Tod Man (Thai Fish Cake)
FISH:
2 lb Minced fish
1 t Salt
1/2 c Red curry paste
1 ea Egg
1 T Nam pla
1 c Finely chopped green bean
2 ea Basil leaves, finely
-chopped Vegetable oil CUCUMBER SALAD:
1 c English cucumber, cut in
-fourths & sliced 3 ea Shallots, sliced thinly
1 ea Red hot chile pepper, sliced
2 T Sugar
1 T Vinegar
1 t Salt
1/2 c Hot water
Fish: in food processor mix to a past the fish, salt, curry paste, egg and nam pla. Form paste into balls with hand. Fold in green bean and basil. Flatten each piece into 2 inch circles. Heat oil over medium heat. Fry fish until light golden in color. Dry on paper towel. Serve with cucumber salad. Salad: in a serving bowl, arrange cucumber, shallot and chile in layers. Mix sugar, vinegar and salt. Add hot water; stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over cucumber mixture.

Fish cake | Tod Man Pla #ทอดมันปลา #ทอดมัน #ปลาเห็ด
Tod Mon Pla You can eat it whenever you want as an appetizer, or entrée.
This recipe can make about 25-30 pieces.
Ingredients :
Raw Fish 500-600g or 6 pieces (Salmon, Tilapia, Tuna, Mackerel...)
Red curry paste 4-5 tbsp
Fingerroot 2-3 pieces
Fish sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Eggs 2
Canola oil 3 tbsp
Kaffir lime 5-10 leaves (Cut thin stripe)
Green beans 1 1/2 cup (Cut very small)
Sauce :
Chili cucumber dipping sauce ????
How to cook fish cake :
1.Mash fish until it sticky (You can use the food processor for mixing from step 1-3)
2.Add red curry paste, fingerroot, fish sauce, sugar, eggs, oil.
3.Massage fish and mix ingredients well.
4.Add green beans and kaffir lime leaves, mix together.
6.Heat up canola oil.
7.Make palm size patties 2-3 inches and fry.
8.Serve wish sweet chili sauce, cucumber and rice.
