In today’s episode I wanted to show you how to make tea sandwiches, and also my recipe for a classic Victoria Sponge Cake.
Although I have produced quite a few episodes about tea here on my channel, I have never shown how I make tea sandwiches. In this video I show you three simple but delicious sandwich recipes, as well as how to slice them so that you can have a hotel-worthy tea party at home.
I will also share my Classic Victoria sponge recipe. This is a very simple cake but once you have mastered it, it is a wonderful cake base to use for a variety of different cakes. It tastes so wonderful with your delicate tea sandwiches and a pot of Earl Grey or English Breakfast.
