1 1/2 c Flour 1 1/2 ts Sugar 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Mazola oil 2 tb Milk Apples to fill 9" pie pan Cinnamon Butter or margarine Put first 3 ingredients into pie pan. Mix together the oil and milk and add to flour. Mix together well and shape in pan. Spread 3 tbsp. flour and 3 tbsp. sugar in uncooked pie crust. Add sliced apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter or oleo. Add a little water. Bake a 350 degrees for 45 - 55 minutes. (Sylvia Collins) NOTE: Sylvia was a dear friend of my mother's and had been a widow for a number of years. She liked to bake, but it had to be simple and her apple pie is very simple. No rolling pin or any other dishes, just put everything in the pie pan. -----

6 cups zucchini 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 pie dough/crust Butter for topping
Peel zucchini and cut lengthwise to remove seeds. Slice into small chunks, 1/4 inch thick. Pour into pot and cover with water. Boil until tender, drain and let cool. Combine zucchini with remaining ingredients until smooth and pour into pie crust. Top with other crust, and brush with butter. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
