Non Alcoholic Apple Cider Sangria | Quick & Easy Fall Mocktail | Tasty Thanksgiving Drink Recipe
Apples, pears, oranges, pomegranate seeds, and crisp apple cider with a hint of cinnamon. Our virgin Apple Cider Sangria recipe is a fun fall drink for all ages, perfect for your next get-together. For an adult (alcoholic) version, try using hard apple cider for the sangria instead!

INGREDIENTS:
- Granny Smith Apple - 1 qty.
- Honey Crisp Apple - 1 qty.
- Navel Orange - 1 qty.
- Pear - 1 qty.
- Pomegranate Seeds - 1/2 cup
- Apple cider - 3 cups (700 ml)
- Lemon or Lime Sparkling Water - 3 cups (700 ml)
- Cinnamon Sticks (garnish)
- Sugar (garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS:
How to Make Apple Cider Sangria:
1. Dice 1 apple and 1 pear into cubes with the skin on. Cut 1 orange into slices, and peel a pomegranate to extract the seeds (about 1/2 cup).
2. Add all of the cut fruit to a pitcher (save some for garnishing).
3. Add 3 cups of apple cider and 3 cups of Sparkling Water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
PRO TIP: Add 1 -2 Tbsp. of Sugar if you prefer it sweeter!
3. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour.
4. To rim the glasses, apply lemon juice to the rim and dip it into sugar spread out on a plate.
5. Pour apple cider sangria into the rimmed glasses. Garnish with remaining fruit pieces and a cinnamon stick.
PRO TIP: For an adult version, try using hard apple cider instead!

We used two alcoholic beverages to craft this flavourful punch: a spiced rye whisky and a sparkling apple wine. Feel free to substitute a sparkling wine like Prosecco if your local spirits purveyor doesn’t carry apple wine.
APPLES
Apple is prominent in this punch, with both apple slices and apple cider contributing to its refreshing flavour. If you see mulled apple cider at your local farm stand, grocery or supermarket, try using that. It will increase the spiced element and make this beverage extra memorable.
SPICES
We recommend you make this FALL PUNCH RECIPE an hour or two before serving. It will give the whole spices a chance to soften and infuse the liquid with their spiciness.

INGREDIENTS
16 ounces of spiced whisky
1 bottle sparkling apple wine or Prosecco
8 cups apple cider
3 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
1 tablespoon star anise
1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 tablespoon whole allspice
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
2 apples (pears work too!), sliced
ice
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Place a few handfuls of ice into a 1-gallon beverage dispenser.
2) Add all of the liquid ingredients.
3) Add the spices and sliced apples and stir.
4) To serve: place a few spices and one or two apple slices into each glass. Fill glasses with the chilled punch.
