Today I want to cover some interesting things about fruit. Fruit contains vitamin C, phytonutrients, and fiber. But does the bad outweigh the good?
Fruits have at least 5 times more sugar than vegetables. In fact, 85% of a piece of fruit is sugar. If you’re eating fruit for health reasons, you may want to get your nutrients from a different source.
Fruits have very low amounts of many nutrients that your body needs, including:
• Protein
• Fat
• Iron
• B vitamins
• Calcium
• Zinc
• Omega-3
• Vitamin D
Certain fruits have lower amounts of sugar and are fine to consume in small amounts, including:
• Raspberries
• Blackberries
• Blueberries
• Strawberries
Fruit contains glucose and fructose. Fructose might be low on the glycemic index, but it’s not a healthy alternative to sugar. Only the liver can metabolize fructose, which means it can overload the liver and cause a cascade of issues.
Other problems with fructose:
• It causes you to feel less satisfied
• It increases cortisol
• It decreases insulin sensitivity
• It contributes to a fatty liver

MAMAMIKA Episode 3 - PAN FRIED SALMON with PEAR SAUCE
Hai sahabat Mamamika,

Melalui ikan salmon, kita dapat memenuhi kebutuhan protein dan Omega 3 sekaligus.

Pan Fried Salmon with Pear Sauce
Bahan:
1. 125 gr. salmon fillet (dengan kulit)
2. 1 sdm tepung terigu
3. 2 sdm air matang
4. 1 sdm gula pasir
5. 2 sdm kecap asin
6. 1/2 buah pear (ambil sarinya)
7. 1 sdm mentega
8. 1/2 sdm minyak sayur
9. Garam dan merica secukupnya
Resep :
1. Bersihkan daging salmon dari duri.
2. Bumbui daging salmon dengan garam dan merica secukupnya.
3. Taburkan tepung terigu di kedua sisi salmon, sisihkan.
4. Panaskan mentega dan wajan dengan api sedang.
5. Goreng daging salmon (kulit menghadap ke bawah) selama 3 menit, kemudian balik ke sisi lainnya dan goreng selama 2 menit, sisihkan.
6. Untuk membuat saus, campur air, gula pasir, kecap asin, dan sari buah pear ke sebuah mangkok.
7. Masak campuran saus di wajan yang sama hingga saus mengental.
8. Tuang saus di atas salmon.
9. Tambahkan sari buah lemon jika diinginkan.
10. Pan Fried Salmon with Pear Sauce siap disajikan.
