How To make Ramen Noodles(Single Serving)
1 Pkg. Ramen noodles (any flavor)
1 green onions
diced (1 to 2)
2 sausage patties :
fried
1 egg -- fried over medium
hot sauce soy sauce Mrs. Dash
Prepare noodles according to package directions. Place egg on top of noodles and cut up. Crumble sausage patties into the noodles and add the onions; mix well. Season to taste with hot sauce, soy sauce (about 1 teaspoon) and Mrs. Dash.

To Make Noodles
Instant Noodles - 300 Gms
Oil - 1 Tsp
Water
Chopped Garlic
Chopped Ginger
Chopped Red Chillies
Chopped Onion - 1 No.
Beans
Sliced Carrot - 1 No.
Green Capsicum - 1/2 No.
Yellow Capsicum
Cabbage
Spring Onion White
Spring Onion Greens
Method:
1. To cook the noodles, take a pot and boil water.
2. To this add the instant noodles and cook it. Add oil.
3. Strain the noodles over a sieve.
4. Drizzle some oil over the noodles and rinse it with cold water.
5. Toss the noodles to avoid noodles sticking with each other.
6. Transfer to a plate and keep it aside.
7. To make the sauce mix, to a bowl add soya sauce, sriracha sauce, vinegar chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Mix well.
8. Add brown sugar to balance the flavors and mix well.
9. To a wide pan, add oil, garlic, ginger, red chillies, onion. Saute them for a minute.
10. Add beans, carrot, green capsicum, yellow capsicum and cabbage. Saute the vegetables for 3 mins.
11. Add the saute mixture and stir it.
12. Now add the cooked noodles and toss it well until noodles are coated with the sauce.
13. Add spring onion whites and spring onion green. Finally toss again.
14. Ramen Stir Fry is ready to be served.

Korean Spicy Ramen Noodles Recipe

Have you ever experimented with a new instant noodles flavour and did not like the seasoning that came with it? Well I sure have! I have a bunch of ramen packets sitting in my pantry because the seasoning was too spicy for me (x2 spicy ramen made me cry ????). So to use them up, I created a version of my favourite Korean buldak ramen but made it less spicy.
This seasoning tastes similar to Korean fire chicken ramen/Korean Buldak ramen (not exact but similar). The gochujang adds the right flavour but if you don't have it, you can use red chilli paste or any chilli sauce. The taste will change a bit but it will still be delicious!
Try this recipe the next time you crave for Korean ramen but don't have the seasoning mix on hand. I'm sure you'll love it ❤️

*RECIPE*
INGREDIENTS: (1 serving)
1 packet instant ramen noodles
--Seasoning Sauce--
1 tsp chicken stock powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sugar (add more if needed)
2 tsp oil
(Optional)1 tsp red pepper paste/ Gochujang
PROCESS:
1. Keep required amount of water for boiling
2. Mix the seasoning sauce and keep it ready
3. Add instant ramen noodles to boiling water and cook until 80% cooked through
4. Drain most of water and retain about 2-3 tbsp in the pan
5. Keep the flame at low and mix in the seasoning thoroughly
6. If the noodles get too dry while mixing, add 1-2 tbsp water and continue to mix
7. Pour the noodles into a bowl and fry an egg with some oil in the same pan
8. Top the noodles with fried egg, green onions and sesame seeds

SUBSTITUTES:
• No garlic powder or onion powder?
You can add fresh garlic and white part of green onion. However when adding fresh ingredients the sauce will have a shorter shelf life and storing a large batch is not ideal. At best it will last 30 days.
• No red pepper paste/gochujang?
Substitute with red chilli paste, red chilli sauce or skip it. It won't taste similar to buldak ramen but it will still taste good.
• No chicken stock powder?
This ingredient is not optional as it adds the main flavour. You can use chicken bouillon cube, chicken powder or any plain chicken flavouring powder.
• No red pepper flakes?
Crushed red chilli flakes can also be used

TIPS:
• Use powders rather than fresh ingredients for a longer shelf life. This will allow you to make a large batch of the sauce and refrigerate it
• Don't overcook the noodles or it will turn mushy
• Alter chilli flakes as per your spice tolerance
• The seasoning sauce also works well with stir fries, soups and marinades

INGREDIENTS:
120 -150g ramen noodles
2-3 Green onions
2 cloves of garlic
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1 Tbsp chilli flakes
1 Tbsp dark soy sauce
1 Tsp brown/white sugar
1/4 Cup water
Toasted sesame seeds & chopped green onions to garnish
-Boil the noodles 1 minute less than packet instruction, drain & keep aside.
-Heat some oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, chilli flakes, cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
-In a small bowl add the soy sauce, sugar and water, stir to combine. Once the garlic is slightly brown in colour add the soy sauce mixture and cook on high to medium heat until the sauce thickens a bit, for about 5 mins
-Then add the noodles and mix until the noodles are nicely coated. Add salt if required.
-Turn off the heat, garnish with some toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy! It’s taste better with poached or half fried egg.
NOTE: Recipe updated in March 2022. We found the noddles to work best with 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tbsp chilli flakes, 1 tbsp soy sauce instead.
-Add all the green onions at last and mix them with the noodles before serving. Frying them in oil looses it’s flavour.
