How To make Poor Man's Perogies
1 pk Lasagna noodles
1 1/2 c Margarine or butter
4 ea Onions, diced
11 ea Medium potatoes
1 lb Velvetta
1 x Parmesan cheese, grated
Saute 1 1/2 sticks of margarine and the diced onions until tender. Cook lasagna noodles as directed on the package. Boil potatoes until tender as for mashed potatoes. Cube cheese. After potatoes are cooked, add cheese and remaining margarine (no milk!) and mash like making mashed potatoes. In a 9 x 13 pan, layer: 1/3 of onions on bottom, layer of noodles, 1/3 of potatoes. Repeat layers ending with mashed potatoes. Top with parmesan cheese and pepper. Bake at 350~F for 30 - 35 minutes. Cut into squares and serve. How To Make Pierogi. My Family’s Tradition
Making Pierogies is a Polish family tradition that my grandmother taught us how to make. What could be better than dough, potatoes and cheese (bacon, sauerkraut etc.). In this video, I show you how my family makes traditional Polish Pierogies. We make them for Christmas, but Pierogies are delicious any time.
Ingredients:
Filling:
10 lbs Potatoes
2 medium onions
1 - 14oz jar sauerkraut
2 cups cheese (dairy or non dairy)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Optional: bacon (or meat of choice)
Dough:
2 lbs butter
5 lbs flour
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
Big pot of water for boiling
Big casserole dish to hold Pierogies coated with lots of butter.

Happy Vlogmas! My Mom's family is Polish and we always ate homemade Polish Pierogies on Christmas Eve. She would make more than a hundred of them in the weeks before Christmas and we would help roll out the dough and stuff them. It was a big project but it was for a special occasion. Much of the rest of the year, when we felt like eating homemade pierogies, but didn't feel like doing all of the work to make them, we would eat this instead. The taste is the same and it's super quick and easy to make.

How to make a Pierogi Casserole | Quick and easy casserole
For today’s dish I am making something fun and easy that involves pierogis, not to mention it is really awesome
* 2 lbs frozen cheddar pierogies
* 1 (15 ounce) jar alfredo sauce
* Crispy bacon chopped
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella
* 1 cup shredded cheddar
* Roasted red peppers
* Tomatoes
* Bread crumbs
This is a really quick and tasty recipe to make, I hope you make it too and let me know how it turns out!!
