Super Easy PEPPER STEAK Recipe
Hey guys I am making this quick and easy pepper steak recipe right at home.
This Chinese Take Out Pepper Steak will be your family's favorite Chinese pepper steak goes well with a side of white rice on the side. Enjoy.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound rib eye steak
1/4 cup light and dark soy sauce
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
1 tbsp minced ginger
2 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp steak seasoning
1/2 tsp creole seasoning
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp island vibe seasoning (OPTIONAL)
1 tbsp honey or sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth or beef broth
1/45 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp white rice vinegar
1/4 cup water

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
This video takes you through the steps to making some incredibly tasty slow cooker pepper steak. It’s a flavor packed dish that goes great with a side of rice.

Pepper steak is a delicious dish that can easily feed a crowd making it perfect if you need to cook a large family meal. I recommend cooking some rice or potato mash to go with it. There is a ton of other sides that also go well with this delicious dish.
When it comes to cooking beef in a slow cooker I recommend that you use a tough cut of meat. This includes cuts such as rump, blade brisket, chuck, round, and so on. (Obviously, some of these are the same cut with just a different name)
You can keep the leftovers of this pepper steak in either the fridge or freezer. Simply reheat it whenever you feel like an easy meal. It also goes great on top of some nachos or even inside of a taco.
There are quite a few ingredients required for this recipe so you might want a list. If this is the case then you can find a list right below, it’s perfect if you need to go to the shops.
Meat & Vegetables
• 1kg (2 lb) beef, cut into strips
• 1 red bell pepper, thick slices
• 1 green bell pepper, thick slices
• 1 onion, chopped, thick slices
Sauce
• 1 beef bouillon cube
• ¼ cup light soy sauce
• ½ tsp. ginger, minced
• 1 tsp. garlic, crushed
• ¼ tsp. black pepper
• 1 400g (crushed tomatoes
• 2 tsp. brown sugar
• ¼ cup boiling water
Thickener:
• 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 1 Tbsp. water
You shouldn’t need to season this dish too much as the soy and beef stock will have a fair bit of salt in them. Simply taste at the end of cooking and adjust if you need to.
The bell peppers will become soft after hours of cooking so if you want them to have a bit of a crunch I recommend adding them about an hour or 2 before you plan to serve.

1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly
1 red bell pepper, sliced up
1 green bell pepper, sliced up
1/4 onion, sliced up
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup cooking oil, for divided use
Add red pepper flakes (optional)
Add salt and pepper to taste

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak with Onions ???????? {Better than takeout!}
SLOW COOKER PEPPER STEAK WITH ONIONS

This is my tried and true recipe for pepper steak! I make a concentrated sauce that goes into the slow cooker with beef, bell peppers and onion. It thickens into a velvety smooth gravy, perfect over rice.
PRINTABLE RECIPE AND NUTRITIONAL INFO:
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. beef strips Look for beef cut into strips already or buy top sirloin and cut into 1/2 inch strips (round steak works well too).
1 green bell pepper sliced thick
1 red bell pepper sliced thick
1 white onion sliced
For the sauce:
1/2 cup water
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
4-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small microwavable bowl add the water and the beef bouillon cubes. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds, mix until dissolved. I use the back of a spoon or the tip of a whisk to break up the bouillon cubes. (If you don't have a microwave, boil your water on the stove-top).
Add the soy sauce, Worchestershire sauce, ginger, garlic powder, pepper, brown sugar and cornstarch to the bowl with the water and bouillon. Whisk until smooth. (Add the red pepper flakes if you desire). Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
Add the beef, bell peppers and onions onto the sauce in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
