Parmesan Cheese Ice Cream Recipe from 1789 | 4-ingredient Homemade Savory Custard Ice Cream

We tried a 230 year old Parmesan Ice Cream Recipe from Frederick Nutt’s book The Complete Confectioner published in 1789. The recipe only requires four ingredients: eggs, simply syrup, heavy cream, and freshly grated parmesan cheese. It tastes very smooth, sweet and slightly savory.

Substitute cane sugar syrup with maple syrup or non-sugar syrup if you are on a paleo or keto diet.

Flavorful cheese scones | recipe

ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
6 tbsp cold butter
1 cup anchor cheese
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 finley diced sweet peppers
1 finley diced jalapeño
2 cloves grated garlic
2 stalks Chopped green onions
1 cup butter milk add more if needed
