How To make Meat Balls Stroganoff
Basic meat balls 1 cn Sliced mushrooms (4 oz.)
1 cn Tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1/2 c Flour
1/8 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Garlic salt
1 c Evaporated milk
1 c Water
1 t Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Lemon juice
Prepare basic meat balls. Drain mushrooms, saving liquid. After meatballs are browned, push to side of skillet, add mushrooms and brown over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add enough water to the mushroom liquid to make 1/2 cup; pour this liquid and tomato sauce over the meat balls. Bring to boil, cover skillet, reduce heat. Sprinkle in the flour a little at a time, stirring constantly to blend. Add pepper, garlic salt, evaporated milk, water and Worcestershire sauce in that order, stirring constantly. Return to low heat and cook until sauce is thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and serve immediately with
cooked rice or boiled noodles.
