How To make Maple Walnut Cookies 2
3/4 c Butter flavor crisco
1 1/4 c Light brown sugar; firm pack
1 Egg
1/3 c Milk
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Maple flavoring
3 c Quick cook oats
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1 c Walnuts; coarsely chopped
Frosting: 1 cn Vanilla cake frosting
Maple flavoring to taste 30 Walnut halves
Heat oven to 375~. Grease baking sheets with butter-flavor Crisco. Combine Crisco, light brown sugar, egg, milk, vanilla and maple flavoring in a large bowl. Beat at medium spped of electric mixer until well blended. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended. Stir in nuts. Drop by rounded tbls of dough 2" apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to kitchen counter. Frost top with frosting mixture and garnish with a walnut half. FROSTING: Mix vanilla frosting with maple flavoring to your desired taste. -----

Iced Maple Walnut Sour Cream Cookies
This is the one recipe that you will always want to have on hand. Without a doubt one of the best cookies ever.
Great for a holiday Cookies platter or special events.
Maple Walnut Sour Cream Cookies
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. maple Extract
1 cup sour cream
1 & 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 & 1/2 cup coarsly chopped walnuts
ICING:
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp maple extract
2 cups powdered sugar

1.5 cups sugar
1/2 cuo brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 large eggs
1.5 tsp maple flavoring
1.5 cups ap flour
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
Assemble per video instructions
Bake at 350 for 13 minutes
Zucchini Bread
3 eggs beaten
1 c oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 c fresh shredded zucchini
2tsp vanilla
3 c ap flour
1tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 Tbls cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Assemble per video instructions
Bake at 350 for 1 hour
Makes 2 loaves

Maple Syrup Cookies
Making some maple syrup cookies from recipe number three at the blog. All three recipes make great cookies but this is our favorite of the bunch.
We talk about mise en place (meez on plahs) here also. Mise en place is the process of getting all your ingredients and tools together before you start to bake or cook. It helps stay organized and eliminates missing any ingredient. In the professional world you live and die by how well you prepare your mise.
Maple chocolate Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 cup real maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
Add walnuts and chocolate chips as you see fit. About 3/4 to 1 cup each if desired.
METHOD:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into mixture until well blended.
3. Put the one third cup of sugar in a small bowl.
4. In a large bowl or your stand mixer (preferred) cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, syrup and vanilla. Mix until well blended.
5. Scoop out one tablespoon of dough and shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes and cool on wire rack.
