1 Egg
beaten
1/2 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Butter (or marg.) :
melted
1/2 cup Flour -- self-rising
1 teaspoon Maple flavoring
1 cup Walnuts -- coarsely broken
1/2 cup Raisins
Combine egg and sugar, beating well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan; cut into bars or squares.

1/4 cup (50) powdered erythritol
1/4 tsp (1g) salt
1/4 cup (55g) chilled unsalted butter
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar substitute (I used Swerve brown sugar substitute)
1/3 cup (70g) allulose or erythritol
1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 teaspoons (6g) maple extract
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
1 1/2 cups (190g) chopped walnuts
Yields 16 bars (1 per serving)

Hey guys and thanks for coming to my channel! Today is a sweets kind of day so I will be making some tempting Brown Sugar Walnut Bars. They start off with a buttery shortbread crust, then a delicious chewy walnut center followed by a delicious brown sugar topping! So join me today as I make this wonderful sweet treat! Ingredients:
SHORTBREAD CRUST
1 cup Flour
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Butter, cold and cut into 8 slices
WALNUT TOPPING
1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1 Egg
1 tsp Almond Extract(or you can use vanilla extract)
1 and 1/2 Tbsp Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line or grease an 8x8 pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
Mix in butter using a pastry cutter or 2 knives, mixture should be crumbly.
Press shortbread into pan evenly, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are beginning to brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool slightly.
For the Filling:
Whisk brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until smooth.
Stir in chopped walnuts.
Pour into pan and spread evenly. Bake for 17-20 minutes, until the surface looks cracked and dry. Cool completely, then cut into small squares and ENJOY!
