1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1/2 c Crisco Oil
1 (11 oz) can of Mandarin Oranges, not drained
1/2 c sugar
4 eggs
Mix the ingredients. Three cake pans should be floured, greased, and lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Just until it’s room temperature, about 30 minutes. This will help ensure that the icing doesn’t melt and run off the cake.
Icing
12 oz Cool Whip
3 oz box vanilla instant pudding mix
16 oz crushed pineapples, drained
Remove the pineapple juice and reserve it. Mix pineapple with instant pudding and add Cool Whip if the icing is too thick. Keep any leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator. The cake will stay good for about 2 days. After that, it will be too soggy. This recipe does not freeze well.

History
The history of chocolate cheese pie is not well documented, so it is unclear exactly when or where the dish originated. However, it is likely that the combination of chocolate and cheese in a pie-like dessert has been enjoyed by people for many decades, if not longer.
One theory is that chocolate cheese pie may have its roots in Europe, where sweet and savory pies have been a staple of regional cuisine for centuries. In Europe, pies filled with sweet and rich ingredients like chocolate and cheese have been a popular dessert for centuries, and it is possible that the chocolate cheese pie is a variation of one of these traditional pies.
Another theory is that chocolate cheese pie may have originated in the United States, where pie has been a staple of home cooking since colonial times. In the early days of American cooking, pies were often made with simple ingredients like cheese and eggs, and it is possible that chocolate was added to the mix at some point to create a more decadent and satisfying dessert.
Regardless of its origin, chocolate cheese pie has become a popular dessert all over the world, enjoyed for its rich, decadent flavor and creamy texture. Whether made with a graham cracker crust or a traditional pie crust, chocolate cheese pie is a timeless treat that is sure to please any sweet tooth.
