Best Eats in LA! | Eggslut | Langers Deli | Burgers Never Say Die | Hawkins HOB | Johnnie's Pastrami
Here’s our best of the best eats in LA!
Started our morning off at Eggslut at Grand Central Market. The Fairfax egg sandwich and the Slut (coddled egg with mashed potatoes)... perfection!
We’ve been dreaming about the #19 from Langers Deli. Pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing on fresh baked Rye makes for the perfect pastrami sandwich. Dreams do come true!
Burgers Never Day Die took the basic cheeseburger to the highest level. One bite and you’ll know why this burger topped our list of best burgers in LA.
Our choice for best big built burger comes from Hawkins House of Burgers. These guys crank out a massive quality burger with a price that can’t be beat.
Our final stop on our LA foodie crawl took us to Culver City. Winner of our pastrami shootout, Johnnie’s Pastrami knows what customers want.
Of course there are many more great eats in LA. This short list is what we like and don’t mind coming back to experience the best. Hope y’all enjoy these eats as much as we did.

????????Interesting facts:
The origins of the burger-hamburger are unclear, although hamburger steak sandwiches have been advertised in American newspapers from New York to Hawaii since at least the 1890s. The invention of the hamburger is usually attributed to various people, including Charlie Nagrin, Frank and Charles Menches, Oscar Weber Bilby, Fletcher Davis or Louis Lassen. The White Castle restaurant chain originated from the sale of hamburgers from Hamburg, Germany, and was formed by Otto Kuas. Some have pointed to a recipe for Hamburg sausages on toast, which Hannah Glass published in 1747 in The Art of Cooking Made Simple and Easy .Hamburgers gained national recognition in the US at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
