4 Egg whites 1/2 teaspoon Cream of tartar 4 Egg yolks 1 can Condensed milk
14 oz 1/3 cup Key lime juice or lime juice 2 Lime rinds :
grated 1 Graham cracker crust -- 9-inch Whipped cream Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Set aside. Beat egg yolks with 1 cup beaten egg whites, mixing well. Add condensed milk, lime juice and grated rind.Fold in remaining egg whites. Pour into crust and bake until golden brown. At 15 minutes, begin to check. Chill and serve with whipped cream. Peggy's Key Lime Pie
Lisa's whipping up Key Lime Pie. Sometimes she has fresh limes on hand and sometimes the bottled juice. Sometimes she has ready made store bought Graham Crust and sometimes she makes that kind of crust. Other times she has made regular pie crust and made little tart size handheld pies. Each video recipe is different with these variations on the theme.
Simple Key Lime Pie Recipe
Lisa makes delicious pastries often in her spare time. She loves it. I love it. Our friends love it. Therefore, I decided to make a video about it????
With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Press into a 23-cm (9-inch) pie plate. Bake for about 10 minutes. Set aside.
2. Filling
In a saucepan, off the heat, mix lime juice and cornstarch with a whisk. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring and scraping the bottom of the pan, until it thickens. Pour filling into crust. Refrigerate for about three hours or until completely cooled.
3. Whipped Cream
In a bowl, beat all the ingredients with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Garnish the pie with the whipped cream.

This deliciously tart and sweet graham cracker-crust pie is easy to bake. Don’t have key limes in your area? Not an issue. Use regular Persian limes. They taste just as good.
