How To make Lemon Chicken with Basil
2 Chicken breasts
1 lb Mushrooms
1 Lemon, sliced into thin wedg
1 c Tomato sauce-8 oz
1 Basil; chopped fresh
6 Sprouts
Chives; chopped 1/4 c White wine-cheap
1/2 c Mozarella cheese, shredded *
1 c Rice, uncooked
Parmesan cheese. Chicken breasts can be split to 4 pieces or cubed to bite size. In deep fry pan, saute chicken and mushrooms in half of the white wine with basil, lemon, and chives until mostly done. Splash in rest of wine (or extra) as needed. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until thickened, stirring occasionally. When done,
lemon wedges should be thoroughly cooked, and can be eaten. Serve over steamed rice. Top with a sprinkle of parmesan or mozarella (not too much) and a little sprinkle of chives. (It's good without the cheese, too.) Garnish with a fresh sprig of basil and wedges from unused half of lemon. Serves 2 (plenty). NOTE: The white wine can be replaced with apple juice. As a matter of fact, I like mushrooms cooked in apple juice until it's reduced down to almost nothing. A lot less calories than cooking them in butter, and tastes great. Creamy lemon basil chicken!
1 pound chicken thighs
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1 to 2 tablespoon chopped basil..(even more if you love basil)..will give it like a pesto sauce flavor with more basil
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 cup half and half OR heavy cream
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

INGREDIENTS:
8 boneless, skinless Chicken Breast halves {or 4 whole chicken breasts}
1 large whole Lemon {zest and juice}
1 cup Fresh Basil
2 cloves Fresh Garlic, squeezed through a garlic press
½ cup Olive Oil
¼ cup White Wine Vinegar
Kosher Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl combine the entire zest and juice of one large lemon.
Add in the white wine vinegar and squeeze in two good sized cloves of garlic. Stack, roll and slice thin ribbons of basil and add that to the bowl. Season with kosher salt and black pepper. I eyeball it, but I'd say about a ½ teaspoon of kosher salt and a ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
Whisk while drizzling in the olive oil. Reserve a quarter cup of the marinade before tossing the chicken breasts in and turning to coat. Pop it into the fridge to marinate for 30-60 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the fridge while your grill heats up to medium-medium/high heat. Grill the chicken for 4-6 minutes before turning and basting {the grilled side} with the reserved marinade. Continue to cook for 4-6 more minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
Remove the chicken to a platter and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Try this awesome summer chicken with honey, lemon, basil and garlic.

Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1 tbsp Lemon Zest
1/4 Cup Fresh lemon zest
3 Tablespoon Honey
1 Handful Basil leaves
10 Pieces Boneless Chicken Thighs
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black pepper
10-12 minced garlic cloves
2 Tbsp Butter
1 pinch italian seasoning (basil, thyme, rosemary, oregano)
Method:
1. In a small bowl mix olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and honey. Keep some aside for later.
2. First, wash your chicken pieces and marinate it with turmeric powder, black pepper powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Now add them - one by one - in the bowl with sauce. Coat it with a spoon. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let it rest for 30-minutes in the fridge.
3. In a grill pan melt some butter. Add minced garlic cloves on them and stir well. Place the chicken pieces - one at a time. Do not overcrowd the pan. Finish with one batch then move on to the next.
Grill chicken pieces on medium heat for 6-7 minutes. Then flip it over and grill the other side for another 6-7 minutes. Baste the chicken with leftover marinade.
4. Serve the chicken with some fresh basil and Italian seasoning sprinkled on top.
