1/2 c Butter
Cookies: 1 c Light brown sugar; packed
1/3 c Sour cream
1 Egg; beaten
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 3/4 c Flour; unsifted
3/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Cashews; chopped
Icing: 2 c Powdered sugar; sifted
3 tb Butter; softened
1 ds Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 c Milk
Red or green food coloring Cashews for garnish/whole NOTE: Interesting cookies can also be made substituting walnuts or pecans for the cashews in both the cookie and icing ingredients. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 2 large cookie sheets. In large mixing bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Stir flour, soda, and salt together. Add to creamed mixture and mix until well combined. Fold in chopped cashews. Drop dough by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Mix together all icing ingredients, except whole cashews. After cookies have cooled, spread icing over tops. Garnish each with a cashew. -----

BISKUT GAJUS RANGUP/ CASHEW NUT COOKIES
Biskut gajus lemak lemak manis rangup yang sedapg giler ????????????. Biskut yang dikenali kerana hiasan kacang gajusnya & menjadi kesukaan kanak-kanak kerana bentuknya. Biskut yang wajip di musim perayaan. Buat sendiri lagi puas hati ????????????.
Bahan-bahan:
1 cup butter / mentega
3/4 cup aising sugar /gula halus
1 egg yolk /Kuning telur
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 cups multi purpose flour / tepung gandum
1/2 tsp emplex
2 tbsp corn flour /tepung jagung
1/2 tsp baking powder /serbuk penaik
1 cup cashew /kacang gajus
Cara:
1. Bakar kacang gajus dalam oven suhu 150*c selama 10 minit kemudian biarkan sejuk. Sukat 1/2 cawan kacang & kisar halus. Baki kacang gajus simpan untuk hiasan diatas biskut . Boleh guna kacang gajus yang siap masak, lagi senang, hanya tinggal dikisar.
2. Gaul sebati butter, gula, kuning telur & esen vanilla. Masukkan enplex, gajus kisar & tepung jagung & gaul sebati .
3. Masukkan tepung gandum sedikit demi sedikit sehingga dapat adunan sebati yang sederhana lembut.
4. Terap dengan acuan bentuk gajus, letak kacang gajus diatasnya & sapukan dengan kuning telur.
5. Bakar dalam oven suhu 180*c selama 18 minit, bergantung kepada oven masing2.

【Grandma's Recipe】Cashew Nut Cookies
Cashew nut cookies is one of the traditional cookies which are popular in Malaysia and Singapore. The cashew halves on top give them an additional nice texture and also enhances the flavour. These cashew nut cookies have a crumbly sandy texture and a delicious nutty flavour. Perfect for afternoon tea or the holidays
== INGREDIENTS ==
Butter 250 gram
Sugar 225 gram
All Purpose Flour 370 gram
Corn Starch 100 gram
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Eggs 1 pc
== STEPS ==
1. Mixed the butter and sugar well combined.
2. Slowly add in all purpose flour, corn starch and baking powder. Mixed well until combined each time.
3. When the dough is heavy for the mixer, switch to spatula.
4. Add in the rest of the flour.
5. Take some of the dough, form a disk cover with cling film and roll it out to 1cm thickness.
6. Cut the dough using a cookies cutter.
7. Place on a tray.
8. Place the cashew nut haves on top, pressing a bit.
9. Gently brush with egg yolk.
10. Bake at 180°C for 50 minutes.
11. It's done.

【阿嬷食谱】香脆腰果酥 2021
这个食谱来自马来西亚,是当地庆祝农历新年的传统点心。制作过程相对简单,口感酥松,有浓郁的黄油香。
==材料==
牛油 250 克
糖 225 克
面粉 370 克
粟米粉 100 克
鸡蛋 1 粒
发粉 1 茶匙
==步骤==
1. 把牛油和糖混合打均匀
2. 慢慢加入面粉,粟米粉,发粉,搅拌均匀
3. 当全部材料混合了,手动搅拌均匀
4. 加入剩余的面粉,搅拌均匀
5. 把面团搓成一小团,放在纸上,把它弄成1厘米厚度
6. 用模型把面团一块块切出来
7. 放在烤盘上
8. 把腰果切成一半,放在已切出来的面团上
9. 涂蛋黄在面团上
10. 放进180°C烤箱烤大概50分钟或腰果酥表面变金黄色为止

120g Cashew Nuts 腰豆
250g Salted Butter 咸味牛油

130g Corn Starch 粟米粉
250g Low Protein Flour 低筋面粉
*1 Yolk 蛋黄
*1 Tsp Oil 油
* 1 Tsp Water 水

腰豆饼 Cashew Nut Biscuits
Susan说每个烤箱的热度都不同,只要拿捏好自家烤箱的温度烤时,做饼就不会翻车了。食材方面,用好的牛油,饼会更香更好吃。上色的蛋液,加点牛奶,烤好的饼颜色会比较亮。你学会了吗?
分量: 80-90粒 (2 个托盘)
准备时间:60 分钟
煮时:40分钟
材料A:
160克 中筋面粉
40克 玉米粉
55克 细砂糖
1 粒 蛋黄
135克 无盐牛油 (软化)
适量 腰豆
材料B(拌匀):
少许 蛋黄
少许 牛奶
做法:
1. 把牛油和细砂糖加入个盆里,用打蛋器打至泛白
2. 加入蛋黄, 拌打均匀
3. 把 中筋面粉和玉米粉过筛入盆
4. 拌匀至无干粉,再揉成光滑面团
5. 取出1茶匙分量的面团,揉成汤圆形
6. 拇指和食指压住两边
7. 把1棵腰豆塞入面团
8. 重复以上步骤至面团用完
9. 以160°C预热烤箱10分钟
10. 把材料B刷在腰豆饼上
11. 进烤箱, 160°C烤15分钟或上色
12. 腰豆饼出炉待凉,收入密封的罐仔里

Some egg yolk
Some milk
Steps:
1. Beat butter & sugar until pale in color
2. Add in egg yolk, blend well
3. Sift in all-purpose flour & cornstarch
4. Mix well, knead to form a smooth dough
5. Scoop 1 tsp dough & knead into a round shape
6. Use thumb & index finger to press the sides of the dough
7. Stuff a cashew nut into the dough
8. Repeat the steps until the dough is fully used
9. Pre-heat oven at 160°C for 10 minutes
10. Apply a layer of Ingredients B on top of the cashew nut biscuits
11. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes or until golden brown
12. Retrieve the cashew nut biscuits from the oven & leave them to cold, store them in a container to keep
