How To make Hot & Spicy Pepper & Apricot Chutney
1 1/4 lb Sweet red peppers cored
Seeded cut into 1/4 inch Dice (3 cups) 12 oz Dried apricots cut into 1/4
Inch dice 1 c Raisins
1 lg Onion fine chopped
5 cl Garlic thinly slivered
1 3-inch piece fresh
Gingerroot peeled and thin Slivered (3 cup) 1 1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Cumin seeds
1 1/2 ts Crushed red pepper flakes
3/4 ts Mustard seeds
1 c Sugar
3/4 c Red wine vinegar
Combine sweet red peppers, apricots, raisins, onion, garlic, gingerroot, salt, red pepper flakes, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and sugar in large saucepan. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Add vinegar. Cook stirring often, until mixture is shiny and thick 30- 35 minutes. Cool. Cover and refrigerate.

Make your own chilli chutney, here in the netherlands we don't have mrs balls chutney (in your daily supermarket, you can only buy from shops that import it and its quite expensive) and this is nothing like that, but at least I get to enjoy a little bit of chutney that reminds me of home hehe xxx

Spicy Peppers | Chutney or Relish?
Here's a different way to add some spice to your dishes. You can call it a chutney or a relish but it goes great with grilled meats, cheeses, hotdogs, hamburgers, fish, almost anything
Recipe:
6 large mild to medium spice peppers
1 white onion
2 cloves garlic
2-3 TBS Olive oil
1-2 TBS sugar (to taste)
1-2 TBS red wine vinegar (to taste)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp sweet paprika

This is easy condiment that you can quickly make it. It will add flavor to your appetizer or you can serve with it Grilled Chicken or Pork.
You need:
4 oz Dried apricot
3 oz Red Pepper
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup sugar
You can adjust spice and sweetness as per your taste.
