How To Make Fermented Honey Garlic - Natural Home Remedy For Immune Boosting | Skinny Recipes
garlic and honey immune booster for cold and flu, only 2 ingredients needed, fermented garlic and honey together will create a mixture that can keep your body healthy and strong. This mix will last for many years and you as soon as you feel a cold coming up, just have a 1tsp, two or three times a day.
Ingredients:
peeled garlic cloves
organic honey
Method:
fill a jar with garlic cloves, use a jar that fit the amount of garlic you are using.
The garlic should be filled till the shoulder of the jar.
Pour in the honey. Honey should cover the garlic.
From the next day onwards for atleast a week flip the jar over and before doing that, open the lid to burp. Then secure the lid and flip it over.
You may see some bubbling activities and if the mix is too much in the jar, it may sometimes ooze out. So make sure you give some headspace.
The honey and garlic once it starts to ferment will change colour and it will have a nice delicious taste.
The fermented batch I showed in the video was made in April, 2021 at the time of uploading this video.
Store it in room temperature. After 30 days I shift to a cool dark place - in my kitchen cabinet.

If you want a regular cake, don’t try this one. Honey cake is just sweetened with honey. Making this bake a uniquely flavored wonder. It’s less sweet than a traditional cake and it has a dense texture with a moist but spongy feel. Lemon adds some depth to the cake without detracting from the pure honey taste. I think it’s better when its cold and I like to add some honey or honey lemon drizzle on top for more sweetness. I used fresh edible flowers and powdered sugar for a bright and lovely garnish. Gluten-Free Honey Cake
Adapted for gluten-Free from Delish
Makes one 9” round cake
Dry Ingredients
1 3/4 Cups Cup4Cup Multipurpose Flour
1 teaspoon sweet rice flour
1/4 cup blanched almond flour + 1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup honey
3 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
zest of one lemon
1/2 cup sour cream
Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9” cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
În a medium-sized bowl, whisk together dry ingredients and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and honey until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time and beat in. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon zest and mix for a minute more. Add dry ingredients and beat until just combined. Stir in sour cream. Scoop batter into prepared pan and bake for about 34 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle of the cake comes clean. Let cool completely. You can dust with powdered sugar(or sugar free powdered sweetener) and garnish with fresh edible( I used Nasturtiums and Lavender flowers or berries right before serving. Drizzle top with honey for a bit more sweetness if desired.

A must try! The garlic mellows out and you can eat both the garlic and honey. Store for at least 30 days up to a few years. A few tips: Store in a cool, dry place. Burp the jar every day for 2 weeks (open the lip). Place a plate under when you store the honey.
