How To make Hearty Pizza Hero
1 loaf French bread
split and toasted
:
Sauce :
* see note 1/2 tsp olive oil
8 ozs mushrooms sliced
1 c bell peppers :
chopped
1/2 c onions -- chopped
14 1/2 ozs crushed tomatoes
8 ozs no-salt-added tomato sauce
2 tbsps pizza seasoning
1 1/2 tsps salt
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/4 tsp black pepper
Toppings:
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 sm onion -- sliced 1-inch thick
1 sm bell pepper -- sliced 1-inch thick
10 slices low-fat bacon -- cooked and crumbled
6 low-fat ham slices -- sliced diagonally
5 slices fat-free swiss cheese singles
5 slices fat-free american cheese singles
Preheat oven to 425. To prepare sauce, heat oil in a skillet, cook mushrooms, peppers, and onions until tender. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, pizza seasoning, salt, sugar, oregano, basil, and black pepper. Simmer all ingredients until bubbling or 15 minutes. Let cool and set aside. In another skillet, heat remaining oil over medium heat. Cook remaining onion and bell pepper until tender; set aside. Top both halves of bread evenly with sauce. Then, top with cooked onion, bell pepper, bacon, ham, and cheeses. Bake for 16 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Homemade Pizza ????
Home made pizza from scratch, it’s easy to make and taste 10x better that any pizzeria.
2 medium pizza or 4 small pizza (I like thick dough but you can make it thin so it’s will be even bigger size of pizza)
Ingredients:
For the dough:
390ml warm water (1.5 cups) ????
5g dry active yeast (1 tsp)
10g sugar (2 tsp)
2 Tbsp olive oil ????
2 tsp kosher salt ????
600g ‘00’ flour (if you don’t have it use all purpose flour)
For the sauce:
400g crushed tomatoes ????
1 garlic clove ????
1 Tbsp olive oil ????
Salt and pepper to taste ????
For the toppings:
2 mozzarella balls
150g shredded mozzarella/ Parmesan cheese ????
2 Tbsp olive oil ????
Dry oregano ????
Fresh Basil leaves ????
1. Mix all the dough ingredients together and knead the dough about 10min (it’s should be a little sticky).
2. Transfer into a clean bowl with olive oil cover with plastic wrap and let it’s raise until double the size (around 1-1.5 hours).
3. Divide the dough into 2-4 equal portions, cover with towel and let it rest for about 30 min.
4. Make the sauce, mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
5. Turn on the oven 485f (250c) and place a baking sheet inside the oven.
6. Make the pizza on a parchment paper, flat the dough, add the sauce and the toppings.
7. When the oven reach the temperature slide the pizza with the parchment paper on the hot baking sheet and bake for 12-14 min.
8. Cut, serve hot and enjoy ????
