Pineapple Honey Glazed Ham
Pineapple honey glazed ham is great for the Holidays or any time of year. I often serve the dish up with scalloped potatoes but mashed or rice words too. It is a great alternative to turkey, as I am not a turkey lover. If you are, it can be an additional dish too.
I use cloves in the ham, but this is totally optional. It just adds a really nice touch. You can also adjust the glaze according to your liking.

薄いハムカツと贅沢な厚切りハムカツ
今日はクッキングノートには掲載されていませんが、昭和のレシピに相応しい昔ながらの味、ハムカツ。
懐かしい庶民のハムカツは高温でさっと揚げ、贅沢厚切りハムカツは中に火を通す必要はありませんが、温めるために170~180度くらいで衣が黄金色になるように揚げます。
今回、厚切りハムカツにはカレー粉を塗しましたが、マヨネーズやマスタードなどお好みのものを塗した後、小麦粉に塗して衣をつけても構いません。
ご飯のおかずでもパンに挟んでも美味しいハムカツ。
私はアルコールあまり飲まないのでわかりませんが、お酒のおつまみにもよく出されるようです。

How to Cook a Small Fully Cooked Ham
Don’t underestimate these little pre-cooked hams. Especially now while they’re on sale!
Perfect for a ham dinner for one or two. And ideal for using cold or hot in endless recipes.
As long as the package says “fully-cooked” you can use these hams for sandwiches, wraps or salads.
Or cook with it - casseroles, egg dishes, pizza, fried rice, soups, pasta, etc
As for baking the whole ham, here are three tips to avoid drying it out.
1. Use low heat - 325F/160C
2. Cover with lid or foil
3. Use a glaze and baste it halfway
My recipe at for baked ham includes three glazes for you to choose from. Today, I used hot pepper jelly.
