How To make Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
3 lg Fresh portobello mushrooms;
-stems removed and cleaned 2 tb Olive oil
5 Garlic cloves; finely
-chopped pn Salt pn Freshly ground black pepper pn Oregano Chopped parsley for garnish Quarter the caps. Place them on a broiler pan pre-coated with a little olive oil, bottoms up. Cover the mushrooms with chopped garlic, salt and pepper. Drizzle half the olive oil over the mushrooms. Put under the broiler for about five minutes. Remove the mushrooms and probe with the fork for softness. Sprinkle with oregano and parsley and return to oven, this time for another five minutes, checking every two minutes for the perfect tenderness. They should be soft on both tops and bottoms. Easy Grilled Portobello Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
3 portobello mushrooms
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons balsamic vinega
Directions:
Clean mushrooms and remove stems, reserve for other use. Place caps on a plate with the gills up.
In a small bowl, combine the oil, onion, garlic and vinegar. Pour mixture evenly over the mushroom caps and let stand for 1 hour.
Grill over hot grill for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.

Kosher Salt
Pepper
Oil the mushrooms.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Grill on BBQ medium direct flame for about 5 minutes per side starting with smooth side down.
Serve whole or sliced.

Marinated & Grilled Portobello Mushrooms ~ Noreen's Kitchen
We made some steaks the other day and what better to go next to a steak than a marinated Portobello mushroom? These are very easy to make, and quick to cook once your grill is good and hot. Marinate them in some Italian dressing or another favorite, Teriyaki marinade and you are in for a nice treat!
Portobello mushrooms are a nice option if you have vegetarian friends because these are delicious and meaty and they are going to love them as well! So throw on your steaks and Sunday onions along with these mushrooms and you will have a meal fit for the royal family!
