For breading :
1 cup AP flour
1 cup corn meal
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk/ whole milk
Seasoning :
Salt

Garlic powder

Green Tomato Pie Recipe Aunt Sammy's Radio Recipe
Green Tomato Pie Recipe - from Aunt Sammy's Radio Recipes. It's the end of summer and we are left with some green tomatoes that just won't ripen; the days are too short now and the temperature is getting cooler. So what to do with the unripe green tomatoes? Fried green tomatoes are always an option, but let's try making a pie from green tomatoes. Green tomato pie! So who was Aunt Sammy, Aunt Sammy's Radio Recipes? Since I'm not American I didn't make the connection to Uncle Sam...
Ingredients:
6 medium sized green tomatoes
2 tablespoons water
½ lemon sliced
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
Pastry ( )
Method:
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem and blossom end, and cut into thin slices.
Cook the tomato, water, and lemon until the tomatoes are almost tender and drain.
When the tomato liquid has cooled add the cornstarch, which has been mixed with the sugar and salt, and cook until thickened.
Add the tomatoes, cinnamon, and butter, and mix thoroughly.
Pour the hot mixture into a baked pastry shell, add the top sheet of dough and bake in a moderately hot oven (375º to 400ºF.) for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

AMAZING GREEN TOMATO KETCHUP | Water-bath Canning Recipe
There are endless uses for those green tomatoes so don't throw them out! This ketchup recipe is a bit on the spicy side but completely delicious! I think we will use it both as a ketchup and BBQ sauce replacement, maybe just adding a bit of liquid smoke for BBQ sauce. I encourage you to look at everything you buy from your grocery and figure out how to make it at home, after all homemade is best!
Recipe:
6 lb chopped green tomatoes (cored, not peeled)
3 lb onions chopped
2 cups white distilled pickling vinegar
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1.5 tsp black pepper
.5 tsp chili powder
.5 tsp cloves
1 tsp dry mustard powder
salt to taste
2 cans of tomato paste (optional)
Mix all ingredients, cook down until softened thoroughly, puree well, continue to cook down until desired consistency is reached and water no longer pools around spoon drop on plate, fill jars to 1/2 inch headspace, process in waterbath canner 15 mins.

3 Tomato Sauces YOU Can Make With Any Tomato, Even Green!
These are the 3 tomato sauce recipes I go for when dealing with tomato abundance. First we have our favorite standard tomato sauce, our take involves using spices and wine to build a complex and deep savory flavor. When I am drowning in cherry tomatoes I love doing a quick pan sauce with whatever is in peak season at the moment, in this case sweet corn! Then we have the green tomato chutney, a delicious sweet and savory way to use the bonus green tomatoes you get when ripping out determinate tomatoes.
Chutney:
2-3 lbs. Green Tomatoes
1 onion
1 3/4 cup Brown Sugar (I use less)
1 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, & Cardamom to taste
Cherry Tomato and Corn Pasta:
1 - 2 cup Cherry Tomatoes per 1 Ear Of Corn
