How To make Ginger Salmon Steaks
1 Piece Fresh Ginger Root
-Peeled, (About 2 X 1/2 X -1/2-Inches) 1 lg Green Onion
1/2 bn Arugula Or Watercress
Olive Or Salad Oil 2 sm Salmon Steaks -- Each About
-3/4-Inch Thick 1 tb Dry Sherry
1 tb Soy Sauce
1/2 pt Cherry Tomatoes
6 sl White Bread
ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING: Slice the ginger root and green onion into 2-inch long, matchstick-thin, strips. Arrange the arugula on a platter. In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat in 1-inch of hot oil, cook the ginger root and green onion until lightly browned. With a slotted spoon, remove the ginger root mixture to a small bowl and set aside. In the remaining oil in the skillet, cook the salmon steaks, turning once, until browned and the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, about 10 minutes. Place the salmon steaks on top of the arugula. Discard any remaining oil in the skillet, then stir in the sherry, sow sauce, and 2 Tb of water, blending well and heating through. Pour the sherry mixture over the salmon steaks and sprinkle the ginger root mixture on top of the steaks. While the salmon steaks are cooking, in a 3-quart saucepan, heat 2 ts of salad oil and cook the cherry tomatoes until just heated through. Cut 1 heart shape out of each slice of bread and toast the hearts. (Save the trimmings for bread crumbs to be used another day.) Serve the Salmon Steaks with the toasted hearts and cooked cherry tomatoes. EACH SERVING CONTAINS: CALORIES: ABOUT 590 FAT: 26 GRAMS : CHOLESTEROL: 99 MG. SODIUM: 1040 MG.

The Best Salmon Recipe|Brownstew Salmon|Jamaican Styles
In this video, I have shared how to make Brownstew Fish(Use any Fish of choice)

4lbs Fish. (Whole@or sliced)
1 Teaspoon Fish Seasoning
1 Teaspoon All Purpose Seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Vegetable Oil for Frying (Enough to cover fish)
BROWNSTEW SAUCE
1-Tablespoon Oil or use some of the oil from frying the fish
1 Small Onion (Julienned)
1 Tomato (Chopped)
1/2 Green Sweet Pepper
1/2 Red Sweet Pepper
1/2 Yellow Sweet Pepper
4-stalks of Scallion (Chopped)
4-Garlic Cloves (Crushed)
1-Scotch Bonnett
1⁄2- Teaspoon Ginger (Grated) or Ginger Paste
4-Sprigs Fresh Thyme
6-8 Pimento Seeds (Crush)
1-Large carrot (Peeled & Cut in Strips)
Okra (Optional)
1- Cup Wine (I'm using Stone's Ginger Wine) or Water
1- Teaspoon All Purpose Seasoning
1- Teaspoon Fish or Seafood Seasoning
1- Tablespoon Green Seasoning
1⁄4-cup of ketchup
1-Teaspoon Oyster Sauce or Soy sauce
Method
Fry each fish for 3-5 Minutes on both sides. Pour off oil and reserve a small amount to stew the fish. Add all ingredients to make the sauce. Add fish and cover on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.

2 salmon fillets about 5 - 6 oz each with skin removed
1 tsp Lawry's or your favourite seasoned salt
1 tsp paprika
freshly ground pepper to taste
2 tbsps light olive oil
1/4 - 1/2 cup honey
1 - 2 tbsps soy sauce
2 tbsps freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tbsps cold butter
4 cloves garlic, minced finely
parsley/chives/scallions diced
1 lemon sliced
