Easy Salmon Recipe – Salmon Patties
Easy salmon patties recipe with onion, ginger, parsley. This fish cake recipe also makes a great salmon burger!
Get this salmon recipe & shop ingredients online: XXXXXXXXXXX
Finely dice the salmon and add to a large bowl with onion, ginger, parsley, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season. Form 1/4 cups of mixture into patties. Place onto a tray, refrigerate for 15 minutes if time permits. Spray a large non-stick frying pan with oil. Heat over a medium-low heat. Cook patties in batches, for 2 minutes each side or until cooked through and golden. For the quick tartare, combine mayonnaise, gherkins, lemon juice and parsley in a medium bowl. Season. Serve patties with quick tartare.

Ingredients
600g fresh skinless salmon fillets, pin-boned
½ small red onion, coarsely grated and drained on paper towel
2cm piece fresh ginger, finely grated
2 tablespoons chopped fresh continental parsley
2 tablespoons Woolworths Select whole egg mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Woolworths Select olive oil spray, for greasing
Quick tartare
½ cup Woolworths Select whole egg mayonnaise
3 teaspoons finely chopped Homebrand gherkins
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh continental parsley
Directions:
1. Finely dice the salmon and add to a large bowl with onion, ginger, parsley, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season. Form 1/4 cups of mixture into patties. Place onto a tray, refrigerate for 15 minutes if time permits.

4. Serve patties with quick tartare.
Tip1: Spray measuring cup with spray oil, so that the salmon mixture doesn’t stick.
Tip2: Swap quick tartare with Woolworths Gold curry mayonnaise for a different flavour.
Tip3: These patties make great salmon burgers topped with salad leaves and cucumber.

1 pound Salmon (skinned )Cubed and mince roughly(do not mince finely)
2 lime leaves
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp ginger grated
1 tsp white or black pepper
salt as needed
1 red chili finely chopped (you can use crushed red peppers as substitute)
1 egg
handful parsley or coriander
1 tsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp corn flour
1/4 cup oil for frying (or as needed)
