Press out dough. Pour filling in center. Fold over. Press edges. Let rise on cookie sheet 20 minutes. Prick with fork. Brush with butter before and after baking. Bake 35 minutes, covered with foil. We lead busy lives, that sometimes draws us to the freezer aisle in the supermarket where it's easy to pick up a frozen pizza that doesn't have a lot of taste and leaves you feeling bloated
This hack will show you how to quickly defrost your pizza dough balls, with no hands on time involved, so you can be baking restaurant quality pizza any night of the week in under 60 minutes.
1. Ensure that the dough balls are in a proofing pot, or a bowl and are sealed to stop them drying out 2. Preheat the oven to 50 - 75ºC 3. Once the oven is heated leave it for 5 minutes to ensure a full ambient temperature throughout the oven 4. Place the dough balls in the middle of the oven 5. Leave them for 45 mins to 1 hour. Check occasionally to see if they are rising quickly. 6. After 45 - 60 mins the dough balls should be defrosted, rested and have puffed up nicely and ready to use
Important note: check the dough balls a couple of times after 30 minutes to ensure they’re not running away with themselves.
