Roasted Figs and Plums
A delicious and simple dessert to use up a glut of summer fruit, cooked by Alan Knott - the personal chef to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort at Badminton House. You will need:
An oven-proof saucepan
Four plums
Five figs
100ml water
2 tablespoons of water
Greek yoghurt (or you could use creme fraiche, cream or even ice cream!)
A good drizzle of honey.

Homegrown produce doesn't always ripen at the same time so here's a way to make plum jam from semi-ripe fruit which is not only practical but tastes GREAT too!
Basically, the only ingredients in this recipe is whole plums and sugar.
