This video demonstrates how to use the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to make envelopes of all sizes! I also give a few tips and tricks for sealing handmade envelopes.
Here's the recipe for making your own moisten-to-seal envelope glue:
3 TBSP (45 ml) white vinegar
1 packet* plain granulated gelatin — In the US, gelatin is generally sold in envelopes that equal 0.25 ounces of granulated gelatin, or 4 sheets of leaf gelatin.
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
1 tsp (5 ml) white sugar
Steps:
1) Put the vinegar in a small container and microwave it until it’s hot, about 30 seconds.
2) Pour the gelatin into the hot vinegar and stir up the mixture until the gelatin has dissolved.
3) Add in your sugar and stir to combine.
4) Pour in your vanilla extract and stir.
5) Brush a single, even layer of envelope glue along the edge of the top envelope flap. If your glue seems to be thick, put it in the microwave for 5-10 seconds so it can return to a thin liquid state.
6) Allow the glue to dry for 5-10 minutes.
Easy!

What's Cooking? Recipe Box & Envelope Walkthrough and Tutorial - Country Craft Creations Design Team
Thanks for checking out my latest project for @Country Craft Creations! I used the Country Craft Creations exclusive What's Cooking? paper collection to make a large recipe box. This box is big but there is a reason! I don't know about you but I'm lazy with my recipes. I print them off Pinterest or where ever it is I find them and then I stick them in a folder. This project is sized to hold those 8 1/2 x 11 printed recipes!
