How To make English Tea Cake
1 c Butter, softened
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Scant c flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
1 tb Cherry juice
12 Maraschino cherries
1/2 c White raisins or currants
(served at English High Tea) Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Grease and flour a small tube pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating thoroughly. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Gradually add to butter mixture. Add vanilla and cherry juice. Fold in cherries and raisins. Bake 1 1/4 hours.

150g All Purpose Flour
120g Fine Sugar
Lemon Zest
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
50g Oil
60g Milk
10g Lemon Juice
2 Eggs (weigh 58-60 gr. each with shell)

One of my facebook follow has small issues making this recipe. So I have trying to experiment on it to solve the issues. The ingredients used in this recipe are very basic. Making the Queen's Favorite Dessert
The amount of chocolate in this dessert is enough to put me in the grave ...
Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter (softened), caster sugar, and dark chocolate (chopped)
250g Rich Tea biscuits (broken up into small pieces)
125g heavy cream and more dark chocolate (chopped)
Recipe:
* Mix your butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy
* Add in your melted dark chocolate and the biscuits and mix everything together
* Put it into your cake pan and let it chill in the fridge for 1 hour
* Bring the heavy cream to a simmer and pour it over the rest of thedark chocolate, then mix until combined
* Spread the chocolate ganache around the cake and top with chocolate shavings
* Let cool at room temperature and enjoy!

Today I made a batch of these amazing teacakes :) Tunnock’s have been making Tea Cakes for 100’s of years but not the easiest thing to find outside of the UK…so I thought I’d give them a go! What could go wrong? :D Everything I used will be listed below,

What did I use?
A 12 hemisphere silicone mould (linked above)
Servings-
6 - 9 tea cakes
How long?
About an hour and a half
Ingredients used -
* 400g (14oz) Milk chocolate buttons - melted
* 75g (2.6 oz) soft butter - Unsalted
* 40g (1.4 oz) White sugar - I used caster sugar
* 80g (4 oz) Plain/all purpose flour
* 35g (2oz) Plain wholemeal flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 Jar marshmallow fluff
* A few teaspoons of jam - optional.
