Directions: Cut venison into serving size pieces while meat is raw. Crock Pot Venison Roast
In this video I go over preparing the venison roast including removing the silver skin and cooking it in my crockpot.
Crockpot Venison Roast Recipe
Here is one of my favorite Crockpot venison roast recipes! It just doesn't get any easier than this. This venison roast recipe takes about 15 minutes to throw together in a crockpot. I put my slow cooker on high for about 5 hours, turning it about half way through.
You can do about any venison roast recipe this way. For this video, I used what a lot of us call the 'football' roast. I believe it's proper name is a sirloin roast. Call it what you want, I call them Guuud!
You can use any amount and type of spices when preparing your venison roast for the crock pot. For this video, I used:
Garlic powder Onion powder Salt Pepper 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup 1 can of Cream of Celery Soup A couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce One packet of Lipton's Beefy Onion dry soup mix
That's it! Of course, use what you like. This crockpot venison roast recipe will come out so freakin' tender! I ladle the soup mixture over rice in this video, but you can pour it over egg noodles, mashed potatoes or even toast. Heck, you can eat it directly out of the crock pot!
I hope you give this crockpot venison recipe a try. I believe you'll love it!
