Easiest 5 Ingredient 5 minute Shrimp Skewers!!
website: themodernnonna.com
5 Ingredient Grilled Shrimp Skewers with garlic and parsley. These are so easy to make and come together within five minutes. Perfect on top of rice, mashed potatoes, salads, or you could also make them into shrimp tacos too. Nothing makes me happier than cooking something easy for the family on a busy day. In the summertime I also try to stay away from the oven so grilling saves the day because it usually takes no time at all. You will need:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
20 peeled/deveined tiger shrimp
1-2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
sprinkle of salt and pepper
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
2 finely diced or minced garlic cloves
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please note: You can use any seasonings you love, I love using “Tahin“ on shrimp as well. Feel free to use any oil of choice and please remove the shrimp after 1 to 2 minutes as you do not want to overcook them. As soon as they start to curl and change colour, they are done. You can use any shrimp you love and of course discard the tail when you eat them — I am sure we all know that but just to be safe.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I defrost my shrimp as per the package instructions and discard any water and pat them dry with a paper towel. I add the remainder of my ingredients and massage everything together with my hand. Add your shrimp to some wooden skewers and make sure you soak them in water for 15 minutes so that they don’t burn.Heat up a lightly oiled grill pan or throw them on a hot BBQ and make sure they sizzle. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side and don’t overcook them. As soon as they start to change colour and curl up you know you should take them out. Garnish with fresh parsley and some lemon slices and enjoy.

New Orleans Style Barbecue Shrimp
New Orleans style barbecue shrimp isn't bbq at all, but it is a great shrimp dish. Pascal's Manale restaurant in New Orleans invented the dish in the mid 50's, and it's remained an iconic dish throughout the years. Try this recipe at home on the grill, the stove top, or oven.
If using a grill, like the M Grills M16, set it up for a two zone grilling method. If using the stove top, you can just control the heat with the knobs on your stove. It's also easy in the oven. Just set your oven to 350*, and place shrimp in a pan, and pour the sauce of them. Bake till the shrimp are finished.
1/2LB of 16/20 fresh shrimp
1/2LB Unsalted butter
6TBS Worcestershire sauce
2TBS Minced garlic
2TBS Black pepper
2TBS Beer
1/2TBS Creole seasoning
1TSP Hot sauce
1/2TSP Kosher salt
1 Lemon
Heat skillet over medium to high heat. Melt half of the butter, but don't let it separate. Add worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and whisk till well blended. Then add dry seasoning, hot sauce, mix well, add hot sauce and beer, and mix well. Mix in the remaining butter and a slice of lemon. Bring to a light boil, and add shrimp. Cook shrimp for a couple minutes, flip, add more black pepper, and cook for a couple more minutes until the shrimp are done. Serve with some toasted french bread slices. Garnish with lemon juice (grill the half lemon if using a grill), and finely sliced green onions. Enjoy it with a group of friends and family.

Honey Ginger Barbecue Shrimp Skewers on the Grill - BBQ Shrimp Recipe
Learn how to make these sweet and tangy honey ginger barbecue shrimp skewers on the grill! These are so fricken delicious and they are super easy to make. Because they are shrimp, they are quick to cook as well. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed!!
What you'll need:
1 lb (26-30) raw deveined shrimp (with or without shells and tails)
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
skewers
In a medium saucepan, combine vinegar, honey, ketchup, ginger, garlic and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until sauce reduces by half and is thick. Remove from heat and set aside. Preheat your grill and skewer the shrimp through both the tails and the midsection. If using wooden skewers, soak them for at least an hour before hand so they don't burn on your grill. When your grill is up to temp, place skewers on. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side. Baste with sauce and cook an additional 1 minute on each side. Serve with extra sauce on the side. Makes 4 large skewers. Enjoy!!
