If spicier result is desired, use Monterey Jack cheese w/jalapeno peppers. Swiss or mozzarella cheese can also be substituted. Make a round mound, layering ingredients in order listed, starting with bean dip and ending with olives. Serve with tortilla chips. Scoop from bottom to top to get a taste of all layers. Diablo Verde 5 layer bean dip
1 can black beans drained 1 block of cream cheese 1/4 jar of Diablo 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Pico de Gallo Cilantro Chopped Avocado Squeeze lime juice
Spread drained black beans in a microwaveable pan. Cut the cream cheese into pats and layer on top of the black beans. Heat in the microwave for 3 minutes until the cream cheese is softened. Gently spread the cream cheese into a single layer. Add Pico de Gallo, Diablo as the 2nd & 3rd layer. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, put the whole pan back the microwave to melt the cheese. Top w/ Cilantro, Chopped Avocado, squeeze limes. Eat with tortilla chips.
