How To make Curried Shrimp Toasts
1 tb Peanut oil
1/2 lb Uncooked medium shrimp;
2 1/2 ts Curry powder
1/4 c Mango chutney
1 ts Soy sauce
1/4 c Mayonnaise
1 tb Mayonnaise
-peeled, deveined 1 Medium onion; chopped
1 Small yellow or red bell
-pepper, chopped 1 Small tomato; seeded, choppe
1 French bread baguette; slice
Heat oil in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and 1/2 teaspoon curry. Saute until shrimp are just cooked, about 2 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer shrimp to bowl; cool. Add onion, bell pepper and remaining 2 teaspoons curry to skillet. Saute until tender, about 10 minutes. Add chutney and soy sauce. Cook 1 minute. Set aside. Chop shrimp and return to bowl. Add vegetables and tomato. (Can be made 4 hours ahead. Cover and chill.) Add mayonnaise to shrimp mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Toast bread. Cool slightly. Top with shrimp. COMMENTS: Aboard the Sir Francis Drake (a 165 ft. sailing vessel), these delicious hors d'oeuvres are served with cocktails. Prawn and Bread Recipe | Easy Sesame Prawn Toast on Tawa | Madras Curry Channel
An easy prawn and bread recipe - Sesame prawn toast on Tawa that can be made by anyone. This is a mouthwatering prawn toast that will be enjoyed by both kids and adults, can be made as a snack, starter or for breakfast. A must try for sea food lovers.
Yield: 12 half toasts
Shelf life: Best consumed immediately, stays fresh for 1 day
Ingredients:
1. Prawns, minced - 150 gms
2. Onion, finely chopped - 1
3. Ginger, finely chopped - 1.5 inch piece
4. Garlic, finely chopped - 8 to 10 cloves
5. Red chilli flakes - 2 to 3 tsp (For less heat, deseed red chillies and crush them).
6. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
7. Corn flour - 1 tbsp
8. White of 1 egg
9. Salt - to taste
10. Bread slices - 6 slices cut into halves (12 triangle slices)
11. Black or white sesame seeds - As required
12. Butter - As required, to toast
Cooking instructions:
1. Mix ingredients 1 to 9 thoroughly in a bowl. Keep aside.
2. Cut 6 bread slices into halves (triangles).
3. Spread the prawn mix on one side of the bread and smooth over the edges.
4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top, over the prawn mix.
5. On a Tawa, toast prawn side first. Flip after the prawn side is cooked slightly, otherwise it will stick to the tawa.
6. Keep flipping and toast both sides until golden brown.
7. Serve hot with chilli or tomato sauce and enjoy the mouthwatering prawn toast!

For the sweet and sour dipping sauce:
1 cup water
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons ketchup
5 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
For the shrimp paste:
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 egg whites
½ teaspoon minced ginger
5 tablespoons cilantro stems
For the bread:
6 slices sandwich bread
2 egg yolks, whisked
1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
4 cups avocado oil, for frying

Today I'm gonna make Shrimp Toast Roulade. a new way to enjoy shrimp toast. Panko makes the texture crispy, I like it. so here's the recipe :
5 slices of bread
100 gr ground chicken
25 gr shrimp
40 gr sago starch
1 egg white
4 tbsp oil
green onion
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
a pinch of salt & pepper
panko, flour, egg for breading
enjoy!
