How To make Curried Rice with Chicken& Walnuts
2 ts Canola oil
2 oz Coarsely chopped Ca. walnuts
1 tb Curry powder
1 tb All-purpose flour
1 t Ground ginger
1/2 ts Ground allspice
1 c Low-sodium chicken broth
5 oz Chicken breast
cubed
:
(skinless, boneless) 1 c Unsweetened applesauce
4 oz Aromatic rice
1/2 c Plain nonfat yogurt
In medium nonstick skillet, heat oil. Add next 5 ingredients and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, stirring until smooth. Add chicken and applesauce; cook 3 minutes more. Add rice and 1 cup water to pan; simmer, covered, 15 minutes; stir 2-3 times, until rice is cooked. Remove from heat; stir in yogurt. Each serving provides: * 1 FA, 1/2 FR, 1-1/2 P, 1 B, 25 C

Thai Cashew Chicken Stir Fry
Cashews are a favourite in stir fries all across Asia, and the Thai do it best! Really try to use raw cashews if you can, pan roasting them brings out super flavour. But if you only have roasted cashews, that's fine too!
Use as much chilli as you want… or not. Terrific whether it's spicy or mild!

(Akhroot)Walnut 250 gram
(LEHSAN paste)Garlic paste 1tsp

(LAL MIRCH)Red pepper powder 1tsp

(Kali MIRCH powder)black pepper powder 1&1/2tsp
Lemon juice 5tbs
(Tmatar)Tomato 8-9
(Pyaz)onion medium size 1
(Pani)water 1/2liter
????RECIPE
_in a pot add chicken,garlic paste,salt, red chilli powder,turmeric powder ,walnut paste and water.
_mix well.
_cover and cook for 30 minutes on medium flame.
_Add tomato puree.
_mix well.
_Cook it for 15 minutes.
_Now add black pepper powder and lemon juice.
_cook it 5-7 minutes.
_Now it is ready.
_Enjoy it with boiled rice and spring onion.

Ghee – 3 tbsp
Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
Fennel Seed – 1 tbsp
Cassia Bark – 3 inch stick
Black Pepper – 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom – 7
Cloves – 5
Star Anise – 2
Bay Leaves – 3
Onion – 1 large (finely sliced)
Sugar (or Jaggery) – 1 tsp
Cashew Nuts – 100 g
Green Raisins – 100g

Pailin “Pai” Chongchitnant is the author of the Hot Thai Kitchen cookbook, co-host of a Canadian TV series One World Kitchen on Gusto TV, and creator and host of the YouTube channel Pailin's Kitchen.
Pai was born and raised in southern Thailand where she spent much of her playtime in the kitchen. She traveled to Canada to study Nutritional Sciences at the University of British Columbia, and was later trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in San Francisco.
