FLUFFY PANCAKE RECIPE
Ingredients
1½ Cups | 190g Flour
4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
2 Tablespoons Sugar (optional)
1 Egg
1¼ Cups | 310ml Milk
¼ Cup | 60g Melted Butter + more for cooking
½ Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
Instructions
In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder and salt with a wooden spoon. Set to the side.
In a smaller bowl crack in the egg and pour in the milk.
Add the melted butter and vanilla essence to the egg and milk and use a fork to mix together until everything is well combined.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet. Fold the batter together with a wooden spoon until there are no longer any large lumps.
To cook the pancakes heat a heavy based pan like cast iron over medium low heat. When the pan is hot add a small amount of butter and ⅓ cup of the pancakes batter.
Cook the pancake for 2-3 minutes each side. Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve the pancakes stacked high with butter and maple syrup. Enjoy.
Notes
You can add other flavourings to the pancakes such as blueberries or chocolate chips. Add the extra ingredients at the same time as you combine the wet and dry ingredients.

PB and J Cream of Wheat

Ingredients
Roasted Grapes:
Nonstick spray, for the baking dish
2 cups black seedless grapes
2 tablespoons Concord grape jelly
Farina:
1 cup milk (skim, 1-percent or whole)
2 heaping tablespoons peanut butter
Fine sea salt
1/2 cup farina hot cereal, such as Bob's Red Mill
1/4 cup roasted peanuts or your favorite nut, chopped
Directions
For the roasted grapes: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Lightly spray an 8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray, add the grapes and 1/4 cup water, cover the dish with aluminum foil and roast, stirring once, until soft, about 25 minutes. Remove the foil, stir in the jelly, and continue roasting until slightly caramelized and about collapsed, 10 to 15 minutes longer.
For the farina: Combine the milk, peanut butter, 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 cups water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Slowly whisk in the farina, stirring constantly, then lower the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes.
Spoon the farina into bowls, top with some of the roasted grapes and any juices that have accumulated, and sprinkle with some of the peanuts. Serve hot.

How To Make Cream of Wheat Recipe
What's going on family, welcome to discovered flavor so today I have something simple but special for yall. I will show you how to make grandmas cream of wheat using Quakers. I want to share with you guys how to make cream of wheat, a breakfast that from my childhood. My Grandma used to make this hot cereal for me and I want to share her recipe with you all. This breakfast has many names, cream of wheat, farina hot porridge and the list goes on depending on where you are located in the world. It's a beautiful thing to know we all eat the same things we just call it something different. Now once theater boils you want to constantly stir to ensure there is no sticking, I remember watching my grandma stirring away adding her ingredients so she can feed all the Lil ones running around. Both my grandmothers made stretch meals and I’m glad I was able to watch from the corner learning from all the things they did.
Ingredients:
Cream Of Wheat
Brown Sugar
Salt
Butter
Strawberries
Raspberries
Bananas
Apples
Directions:
1. Boil water (Milk can be used as well)
2. Add Quakers Cream of Wheat
3. Stir constantly to prevent lumps and sticking
4. Add milk and butter
5. Add brown sugar and cinnamon
6. Garnish with fruit and nuts
