⭕️ Mix: 1 C sugar; 3/4 C brown sugar; 1/2 C butter
⭕️ Add: 1/4 C milk; 2 T orange juice and 1 lg egg
⭕️ Stir together:
➤3 C flour; 1 tsp baking powder; 1/2 tsp salt; 1/4 tsp baking soda
➤add this to above and also add 1 C chopped nuts(I like walnuts) and 2 1/2 C coarsely chopped cranberries(fresh or frozen)
➤Bake at 375 - use parchment paper or a silicone sheet.
➤Bake until light brown, about 15 minutes. Cool (I think I make them a little bigger because it takes 18 minutes)
⭕️ Browned butter glaze - :)
➤Heat 1 stick butter over low heat until it turns golden brown; cool slightly.
➤Stir in 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla; also 2 - 4 TB of hot water, mix until smooth. (you can do this by hand - not mixer) If it starts to stiffin-up, put back on the stove for a few seconds and it will smooth out again.

White chocolate cranberry sugar cookies | 12 days of EASY Christmas cookies (Day 6)
For our 6th easy cookie recipe we are making easy and delicious white chocolate cranberry sugar cookies! The sugar coating gives these Christmas sugar cookies a nice crispy outside and they have a nice soft, chewy center. These easy drop sugar cookies require no chilling or rolling, and they can be made ahead of time and frozen until Christmas!
Cranberry white chocolate cookie recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (melted and cooled slightly) 113g
2/3 cup granulated white sugar (+1/4 cup for coating cookie dough balls) 135g
1/4 cup packed brown sugar 45g
1 large room temperature egg 50-60g
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4g
1+1/2 cup flour 195g
1 teaspoon cornstarch 4g
1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2g
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt 1g
1/2 cup dried cranberries 60g
1/3 cup white chocolate chips 60g
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F/175C. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl combine flour, cornstarch baking soda and salt. Whisk until combined. In a large bowl (or the bowl of a stand mixer, if you would prefer) combine melted butter and both sugars. Whisk or mix on low for 2 minutes until the butter and sugar are well creamed and the mixture is light in color and texture. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and continue mixing another 2 minutes until everything is well incorporated. Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate chips. Use a 1.5 tablespoon cookie sheets to form ball and place them onto your prepared cookie sheets, ensuring that you leave room for spreading. Bake 8-10 minutes, removing from the oven as soon as the bottoms are golden brown. Allow to cool on the pan for a couple minutes and then move to a wire rack to finish cooling completely! This recipe makes approximately 20 cookies. These cookies will keep for 3 days at room temperature, or 5 days refrigerated. They can also be frozen, baked or unbaked!
Freezing instructions:
a. You can freeze your baked cookies in a freezer tight bag or container for up to 30 days. Allow to thaw for 1 hour.
b. Freeze your unbaked cookie dough balls. Place on a pan or plate and freeze for 30 minutes. Transfer to a freezer tight bag or container. These can be frozen for up to 3 months. Remove from the freezer 30 minutes before baking. Bake as indicated above.
