Cook Time: Cholesterol per serving: 6 ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING OR EARLY IN DAY: Chop crabmeat. In small bowl, with fork, mix crabmeat, cheese, mayonnaise, dry mustard, and 1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper. Spread 1 heaping teaspoon crabmeat mixture on each Melba toast round. Place on cookie sheets; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper. If not serving right away, cover and refrigerate. ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING: Preheat broiler if manuafcturer directs. Broil canapes about 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Top each canape with a slice of ripe olive. Arrange canapes and garnish on platter; serve immediately Makes 2 1/2 dozen canapes.

Crab Meat & Grilled Aubergine Canapes
Amaze your guests with these delicious party bites. Easy and wonderful crab & grilled aubergine canapés made and served on toasties. This is a very simple, very tasty snack or appetizer. They keep well in the fridge, so you can make them in advance and use as needed. They are great for a casual pre-drink appetiser or equally fitting for elegant cocktail parties.
CRABBIES
1 LB. Fresh Lump Crabmeat (Drained) 1 Stick Soft Butter 1 (5 oz. Jar Kraft Old English Cheese) 2 TBL. Mayo
Mix above then place foil on a cookie sheet, lay English muffins out and dollop/spread .... sprinkle paprika on top,,, clear wrap and freeze... from freezer to pre-heated 350 oven for approx. 30 minutes til top starts to look a little crisp... remove let cool a few minutes , cut each muffin either in 1/2 or 1/4 and serve.....
