30 Melba toast rounds
1/2 c Sliced pitted ripe olives
Rosemary or wattercress spri Calories per serving: 50 Fat grams per serving: 3 Approx. Cook Time: Cholesterol per serving: 6 ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING OR EARLY IN DAY: Chop crabmeat. In small bowl, with fork, mix crabmeat, cheese, mayonnaise, dry mustard, and 1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper. Spread 1 heaping teaspoon crabmeat mixture on each Melba toast round. Place on cookie sheets; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper. If not serving right away, cover and refrigerate. ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING: Preheat broiler if manuafcturer directs. Broil canapes about 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Top each canape with a slice of ripe olive. Arrange canapes and garnish on platter; serve immediately Makes 2 1/2 dozen canapes.

CRAB CROSTINI RECIPE - CANAPÉ IDEA OR LIGHT LUNCH
Ingredients
- 80g crab meat
- 1/2 x green apple
- 2 x tbsp Crème Fraiche
- 1 x tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 x lime (approx 2-3 x tbsp, I used 3)
- 1/3 or 1/2 x red chilli
- handful parsley
- salt & pepper
- 1 x ciabatta roll or crisp breads
- 1 x garlic clove (optional - see note below)
- olive oil
Method
1. Chop up green apple, red chilli and parsley and add to bowl
2. Toast sourdough / ciabatta under grill or in the toaster
3. Juice lime, and add approx 3 x tbsp of juice to bowl
4. Add mayonnaise and crème fraiche to the bowl, season with salt and pepper, then stir
5. Add the white crab meat and mix through
6. Brush your toasted bread with olive oil and scrap with raw garlic (optional)
7. Pile the crab mixture on top of the toast and garnish with fresh parsley, enjoy!

Crab Snacks ~ Easy and delicious appetizer
Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened
1 jar, Old English Cheese
1 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 pound crabmeat
6 English Muffins
Split English Muffins in half and place on a sheet tray. Mix butter, cheese, mayonnaise, and salts in a bowl. Fold in crabmeat, careful not to break up into pieces.
Spread mixture evenly on muffins. Freeze for at least 30 minutes and cut into six pieces. Place pieces on tray and cook immediately (or put in freezer bag for later.)
Broil for 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown.

1 tsp of fresh parsley
1 tsp of fresh chives
½ tsp of salt
1/3 tsp of white pepper
