Pork Chops with Peppers, Onions & Potatoes, Italian recipe - Gianni's North Beach
Pork chops with peppers is a versatile one-pan dish. I made it with pork chops but it works just as well with sausage or your favorite cuts of chicken. You can have dinner on your table in way less than an hour and clean up is a breeze.
Come to think of it this wouldn't be bad with firm tofu slices instead of meat.
The trick to this one-pan dish is to cook the ingredients separately and then put everything back in the pan with a simple pan sauce to finish cooking.
If you want an easy meal jam-packed with flavor and texture this one's for you.
The golden crusted tender pork chops are delicious all by themselves. But wait there's more.
Add some sweet carmelized onions, bell and cherry vinegar pepper to every bite and your taste buds will be in full swing. And then there are the golden potatoes with the creamy interior.
What more could you hope for and it all came out of just one pan.

Ingredients:
Pork Belly - 600 grams
Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
Chopped Garlic - 3 tbsp
Oyster Sauce - 4 tbsp
Liquid Seasoning - 3 drops
Sliced Onion - 2 medium size
Red Bell Pepper - 1 medium size
Green Bell Pepper - 1 medium size
Dried or Fresh red chilies - 10 pieces
Marinade:
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce - 3 tbsp
Lemon extract - 3 tbsp
Liquid seasoning - 5 drops

How To Make Pork Chops and Brown Gravy | Pork Chops and Gravy Recipe

Quick and Easy Pork Chops and Brown Onion Gravy Ingredients:
2 - 4 Two inch pork chops
2 tablespoons Garlic Powder divided
2 tablespoons Onions Powder divided
2 tablespoons Paprika divided
Salt and Black Pepper
1 cup flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Onion Gravy Ingredients:
1 large onion sliced into rings
2 cloves of garlic smashed
1/2 rib of celery
1/4 piece green bell pepper
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
3 cups Beef Broth
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT:
** Season your flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika
Mix well
**Season both side of each Pork Chop with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Pat all the spices into the pork chops
**Turn heavy bottom skillet to medium high heat and add vegetable oil
Once the oil is hot place 2 chops at a time in the skillet. Cook about 6 minutes each side until about 3/4 of the way done
**Remove pork chops to a plate to rest
**Remove about half of the oil from the skillet leaving any bits from the pork chops in the skillet scrapping them up.
**Add 1/4 cup of the flour used to coat the pork shop into the skillet and cook for about 2-4 minutes. Turn the skillet down to low and continue to cook the flour until dark brown.
**Turn the skillet back up the medium high and add in the Beef Broth stirring constantly.
**Add in the celery, green pepper and onion and continue to simmer the gravy for about 5 minutes
** Remove the celery, green pepper and garlic and discard.
**Add in the onions and cook for 1 minute then add the pork chops in and let it simmer
about 10 minutes until the gravy is thick to your desired consistency.
**Serve with vegetable of your choice over rice, potatoes, noodles or biscuits.

Stir fry chicken and bell peppers recipe
