How To make Cinnamon Raisin French Toast with Date Nut Butter
6 tb Milk
6 tb Buttermilk
2 lg Eggs
3 tb Granulated sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 pn Nutmeg
8 Slices cinnamon-raisin bread
1/4 c Unsalted butter
-Date-Nut Butter -(recipe listed) -Powdered sugar, for dusting Source: California Milk Advisory Board In a large, shallow dish, beat together milk, buttermilk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Soak bread slices in egg mixture until bread is soaked through but not falling apart. Melt 2 tablespoons of the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add 4 bread slices and cook until crisp and golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and keep warm. Repeat with remaining unsalted butter and bread slices. Serve with Date-Nut Butter and dust with powdered sugar. Makes 4 servings. Nutrition facts per serving (2 slices French toast with 1 teaspoon Date-Nut Butter): 370 calories, 20 g fat, 145 mg cholesterol, 270 mg sodium, 41 g carbohydrates, 9 g protein.

Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Date Walnut Bread. Date Walnut Bread is a very nice tea bread bursting with the flavor of sweet dates and crunchy walnuts. The first recipes for this bread began to appear in the 1920s, and it was so popular in the 1930s that it was used to make tea sandwiches. In fact, these tea sandwiches are so delicious you may want to try them. Take two thin slices of your Date and Walnut Bread and sandwich them together with a layer of cream cheese or butter. Then cut the bread into fingers, squares or triangles.

Ingredients and recipe:
Add 1 cup quick oats to a bowl
Pour in 1cup milk
Mix them together well
Chop 1 apple
Slice the halves
Dice them
Add to the bowl
Add in 1/4tsp ground cinnamon
Mix well
Blend the mix with a hand blender
Medium heat
Melt unsalted butter
Scoop some of the batter in the pan
Fry for 2 minutes
Flip over and fry for 2 minutes
Done!
Repeat

Banana Bread French Toast - Best Breakfast Ever!
Banana Bread is delicious for a quick breakfast…it doesn’t get much better…until now. When you make this banana bread French toast, your mind will be blown. Mr Kringle made repeated groans of pure foodie bliss and I suspect you will do the same when you dig into this banana maple perfection! I honestly believe if you made this for brunch on a third date, you might have a marriage proposal by the fourth date. Breakfast just got better y’all!

It’s the perfect breakfast recipe when you are in a mood for something packed with flavours. This recipe is sure to make your breakfast favourite in no time ♥️
Here’s how you make this Desi French Toast at home ☺️
Ingredients :
White Bread/ Brioche Bread - 3 Slices
Besan - 2 Tbsps
Curd - 1/2 Cup
Onion - 1/2 no Sliced
Salt & Pepper - to taste
Chilli Powder - 1/4th Tsp
Turmeric Powder - A pinch
Ghee - 2 Tbsps
Mustard seeds - 2 Tsps
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Green Chillies - 2 nos Slit
Water - 2 Tbsps
Process :
* For the batter - mix together curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chickpea flour, salt & pepper to taste & some water - whisk until a smooth batter is achieved
* Meanwhile, cut thick slices of bread/ you can also use pre-cut bread of your choice
* Dip the bread completely in the batter - make the bread is completely covered in the batter
* Heat up some oil in a saucepan or a tawa & cook the battered bread on both side until golden brown & crisp
* To make the tempering - heat up some oil in a small frypan, add in the mustard seeds, slit green chillies & curry leaves - pour the tempering over the desi french toast
* Serve, Garnish with some sliced onions & Enjoy ????????️

My breakfast box for overnight oats!
As someone who struggles to make breakfast every morning, overnight oats are one of the easiest ways for me to get in a satisfying and delicious meal! I’ve tried many overnight oats recipes, but this is one of my favorites.
Overnight oats is typically made in a mason jar, but I often found it difficult to mix the ingredients together, especially when I used my small mason jar. Once I prepared my overnight oats in my snack box, I never looked back! Not only is it portable, but it’s also easier to mix and saves me time in the morning by allowing me to store toppings in the same container but separately from the oats. *Snack container listed on my Amazon storefront*
Recipe:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 c plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3/4-1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or whichever milk you prefer!)
- Cinnamon
Topping:
- Diced apples
- Chopped pecans
- Drizzle of maple syrup
