This Lemon Poppy Seed Pound Cake recipe makes a fantastic dessert idea for any springtime occasion. A twist on my Blood Orange Pound Cake and Coconut Pound Cake recipes, this pound cake is light and fluffy and full of lemon flavor coming from the lemon zest in the cake and the scrumptious lemon glaze on top.

Ingredients ↴
Cake:
· 5 egg yolks
· 120 g sugar
· 90 ml milk
· 40 g flour
· 12 g baking powder
· pinch of anise
· 1/2 tsp cinnamon
· 150 g ground poppy seeds
· 5 egg whites
White Chocolate Cream:
· 300 g white chocolate
· 250 g mascarpone
· 230 ml whipping cream
· 1 tsp vanilla extract
+ 2 tbsp forest fruit jam ( don't use too sweet jam )
Bake at 170°C/340°F
Around 15-20 minutes ( Always check! )
Please don’t forget to check while baking, as you may need a shorter or longer time to bake. This is on the oven without ventilation on!

1 teaspoon baking powder
Zest from one orange
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs separated protein and yolk

1 15 oz can Solo cake and pastry filling
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 cups flour
1 1/2 t soda
1 large can evaporated milk
Mix sugar, oil, and eggs together. Sift Flour and soda, add to above alternating with the evaporated milk. Once mixed well together add the Solo poppy seed filling. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Bake at 350 until toothpick comes clean. Aprox 1 hour. Mine took 1 hour and 10 minutes.
