How To make Poppy Seed Bread (Cake)
3 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
2 1/4 c Sugar
1 1/2 tb Poppy seeds
3 Eggs
1 1/8 c Cooking oil
1 1/2 c Milk
1 1/2 ts Almond extract
1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
GLAZE:
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 ts Butter flavoring
1/2 ts Almond flavoring
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/4 c Orange juice
3/4 c Powdered sugar (sifted)
Blend all cake ingredients together with a mixer. Pour into greased loaf 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 2 loaves GLAZE: Mix all glaze ingredients together. Pour over bread when it is done. NOTE: I use orange/pineapple juice instead of plain orange juice. I've had it made either way and like both versions equally. I just happen to buy the juice blend regularly and seldom buy plain orange juice. (Nancy) TO BAKE IN JARS: Grease 5 wide-mouth pint canning jars. Divide dough evenly between jars. (Jars will be slightly over 1/2 full.) Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Pull jars out of oven 1 at a time. Pour glaze over hot bread. Immediately apply and firmly tighten a two-piece wide-mouth canning lid. The lid will form a vacuum seal as the jar cools. Jars of canned bread may be stored on the pantry shelf with other canned foods or may be placed in a freezer. The bread is safe to eat as long as jars remain vacuum sealed and free of mold growth. Ingredients for small 1 pound loaf:
1/4 TSP salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) softened butter (room temp)
2 eggs (room temp)
1 TSP baking powder
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 TSP grated fresh lemon zest (or a bit more to taste)
2 TBSP poppy seeds (or chia seeds)
1/2 cup raisins (and another 1/2 cup after kneading) raisins optional
to store after baking let cool completely for at least half an hour then wrap tightly with plastic wrap or foil and store in dry cool place room temp.

Here's what we need for this recipe :
3 eggs
150 g sugar
260 g flour
1,1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar vanilla
1 tbsp orange zest
100 g soft butter
2 tbsp oil
50 ml milk
90 ml orange juice
Bake at 175 degress
For 50 minutes
This may vary in different ovens.
Orange frosting :
80 g soft butter
100 g soft cream cheese (room temperature)
2 tbsp orange juice
Orange zest fir decoration

Lemon poppy seed loaf cake
This is my go-to summer cake
It's not too sweet and not too dry, the poppy seeds add a nice crunchy texture
The simple glaze on top just enhances that lemony flavour which I love, you can glaze the loaf one day in advance so that it sets nicely on top
What else? Oh, well its just great with a cup of black tea :)
You can also make this in a round cake tin or even cupcakes!
I love this recipe because it uses simple ingredients and it turns out very rich and moist, not clumpy as some loaf cakes and everyone that's tasted it has loved it, so, there you go!

Lemon Poppyseed Bread
This bread is quick to put together, moist tender and has the perfect amount of lemon flavor. This bread is sunshine in a pan!
Ingredients:
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp sour cream or plain greek yogurt
1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp of lemon zest
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp flour
2 tsp poppyseeds
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
Glaze:
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
In a small bowl combine egg and 1/3 cup sugar.
Add in oil, sour cream, lemon juice and lemon zest.
In another bowl combine dry ingredients, flour, poppyseeds, baking powder and salt.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix just until all the flour is mixed in. Don't over mix.
Pour into a greased mini loaf pan. 6 x 3
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25- 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Mix up glaze while baking. Combine sugar and lemon juice.
Pour glaze over top of bread while it is still hot. . Leave bread into pan until all liquid is absorbed.
Remove from pan and allow to cool on a cooling rack.

Hi everybody! Today I'm making a very spacial lemon cream cheese poppy seed cake ????????.
This cake is amazingly moist,soft and fluffy. It's full of lemon aroma and goes very well with poppy seeds inside it.
The cheesecake inside this cake is very delicious, I'm sure you will enjoy this cake very much ????????❤️❤️.
Here's what you need :
Loaf pan size : 10 *20 cm
2 eggs
200 g sugar
1 tbsp lemon zest
200 g flour
1 tsp vanilla extract or sugar vanilla
1.5 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup lemon juice
80 g soft butter
20 ml oil
1 tbsp poppy seed
Bake in preheated oven at 175 degress for 50 minutes
Cream cheese mass:
100 g cream cheese
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon zest
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp corn starch
Icing:
1 cup icing suger
1-2 tbsp milk
