How To make Chicken with Fruit and Mixed Mustards
4 ea Breasts, chicken, halves,
broiler/fryer, boned, :
skinned 1/2 c Mustard, dijon
1/3 c Mustard, Bavarian
1 tb Mustard, Chinese
1/3 c Honey
1/3 c Cream, light
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 tb Margarine
4 ea Kiwi, peeled, sliced
2 c Melon, honeydew, balls OR
2 c Melon, cantaloupe OR
-- combination of both 1/4 c Mayonnaise
Parsley In a medium bowl, mix together Dijon, Bavarian, and Chinese mustards, honey and cream. In a large glass bowl, place 1/2 of the mustard sauce; reserve the remainder for later use. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper then place it in the mustard sauce, turning to coat. Place the bowl with the chicken and mustard sauce in it in the refrigerator and marinate for 30 minutes, turning often.

There are several ways you can make chicken curry with each region having its own special way of making it. Today I will show you how to make a Punjabi chicken curry. This chicken curry is extremely delicious as ghee is used but you can even use butter if you do not have ghee on hand.
Ingredients required for making Punjabi chicken recipe -
For marination
* 1.1kg/2.4 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs. You can even use chicken with bones.
* 1/4 th cup plain unflavored yogurt
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 1/4 th teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder. You can even use cayenne pepper or paprika
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon coarsely crushed black pepper.
For the gravy -
* 10 cloves / 35 gm/ 1.2 oz garlic
* 2 & 1/2 inch length/ 32 gm/ 1.1 oz ginger
* 1 very large onion or 4 medium onions
* 1 large tomato
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 2 heaped teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder. Please adjust proportion according to preference. You can even use paprika if you want to avoid the heat.
* 1 tablespoon heaped ground coriander (dhania powder)
* 1/2 teaspoon kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves). Adding a lot of fenugreek leaves may make your curry bitter.
* 1 heaped teaspoon garam masala powder.If you want to make your own garam masala powder then please follow this recipe -
* 2 tablespoons mustard oil or any oil of your preference. If using mustard oil please heat it up first on high heat till it starts smoking. Then lower the heat to low and bring down the temperature of the oil a little bit before adding your whole spices.
* 2 tablespoons ghee (Add 1 tablespoon with oil and another tablespoon along with ground coriander. If you want to make your own homemade ghee then please follow this recipe -
* 1 large dried bay leaf
* 7 green cardamoms (chat elaichii)
* 7 cloves (lavang)
* 2 inch length cinnamon stick (dalchini)
* 1/2 teaspoon whole cumin seeds (jeera)
* 2 whole green chillies (optional)
* coriander leaves a handful or leave it out if you do not like it.
* 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
Serve this with rice/roti/paratha/naan.

THE BEST Old-School Mustard Fried Chicken Wings Recipe | How to make mustard fried chicken
What's up, y'all! In today's video I'll show you how I make old-school, southern-style mustard fried chicken! This is the chicken that you can make on a pinch and don't have to worry about whether you have buttermilk or eggs to coat the chicken! All you need is mustard! Anyways, y'all, I think this recipe is definitely one you'll really enjoy! Let me know what you think in the comments!
Ingredients
- about 15-20 chicken wings, cleaned and pat dry
- mustard
- neutral oil for frying chicken wings
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- pepper and salt
- 2 packets of Sazon seasoning
- AP flour
Directions
- clean chicken and pat dry
- to chicken, add 1 packet of Sazon, 1 ts black pepper, *approximately* 2 TB each of garlic and onion powder, 2-3 TB mustard
- thoroughly mix all ingredients into the chicken
- to 1-1/2 cup AP flour, add in the same seasonings (and amounts) as we did with the chicken, minus the mustard
- add salt to seasoned flour as well (about 1-2 TB or to your taste)
- drop in chicken and coat thoroughly (chicken needs to be ghost white!)
- drop chicken in oil (preheated to about 350-360 F) and cook on both sides about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked completely through
- set on cooling rack to keep chicken wings crispy
- enjoy!
