How To make Chicken In Honeyed Tomatoes
6 boned and skinned chicken breasts,
about 2
pounds salt and pepper, :
to taste 3 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, :
minced
1 can (28oz) plum tomatoes, drained and chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
6 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves, :
crushed
1 cup pitted black olives, -- halved
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Flatten chicken breasts slightly by pounding them between 2 pieces of waxed paper. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, cook breasts about 3 minutes per side, until browned. Remove and keep warm. In same skillet, cook onion and garlic until soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, wine, honey, thyme and tarragon. Simmer sauce for about 15 minutes, or until thick. Return chicken to sauce, Cover and cook another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. This tasty 30 minute skillet chicken in creamy sun dried tomato sauce recipe has bold and rich garlic, parmesan, and herb flavors that will leave you craving more!
Chicken Thighs with Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce
*Ingredients*
chicken, chicken thigh, chili, fresh coriander, honey, lime, paprika powder, red wine, salt, soy sauce, sun-dried tomato, vegetable oil, worcestershire sauce, meat
*Recipe*
Place the chicken thighs on a wooden board and chop them in about 0.4 inch (1 cm) thick slices.
Heat a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and start frying the chicken.
Season it with salt and paprika powder and shred lime zest.
Add the soy sauce and the dried tomatoes while stirring in the pan.
Slice 1 red chili and add it in the pan with the Worcestershire sauce, the red wine and the honey.
Bring to a boil and let it simmer, until the sauce thickens.
Before you take it out of the skillet, add a few coriander leaves.
Turn off the heat and serve.
