✅ Ingredients:
~Makes 20 Biscuits~
⅓ cup or 75gms Desi Ghee
⅓ cup or 45gms Sugar (powdered)
1cup or 125gms Atta (Whole Wheat Flour)
½ cup or 75gms Besan (gram flour)
1 small pinch Baking Powder
¾ tsp Cardamom powder
a tiny pinch Salt
a dash Milk
✅ FOR TOPPINGS-
1tbsp Sugar
2tbsp Pistachio Chopped
2tbsp Almond Chopped
handful Chocolate Chips
✅ FOR KADAI OVEN-

Marie Biscuits At Home With Whole Wheat Flour
This is easy Biscuit or Cookie recipe which tastes same as Marie Biscuit but in more healthy way by using wheat flour instead of maida or all purpose flour. In fact we like this more than the store bought one's which are loaded with preservatives for shelf life.
These are the ingredients required to make this delicious evening tea time snack, Marie Biscuits;
- Whole Wheat - 1.25 Cup / 165g
- Unsalted Butter - 3 Tbsp / 45g
- Milk - 1/4 Cup / 250g
- Sugar - 1/2 Cup / 125g
- Baking Soda - 1/4 Tsp / 2g
- Salt - a pinch

Welcome back, y'all! I'm super excited to finally show you my soft and fluffy biscuit recipe using 100% freshly milled wheat. No white flour needed! My husband has told me he likes this just as much, if not better, than Hardee's biscuits which is saying something! They are soft, fluffy, and PERFECT for biscuits and gravy or...really...with anything.
This recipe has been modified from Jill Winger of The Prairie Homestead's biscuit recipe. Thank you so much, Jill, for a great recipe I was able to springboard off of! Only a few tweaks were needed to make it work for freshly milled wheat.

Sprouted Whole Wheat Biscuit Recipe
Light, buttery whole wheat biscuits with a tender crumb and golden buttermilk crust your family will absolutely love.

1 3/4 cups sprouted white whole wheat flour, plus more for counter
2 tablespoon coconut palm sugar, or honey
2.5 teaspoons baking powder
0.25 teaspoon baking soda
0.5 teaspoon sea salt
6 tablespoons butter, very cold or frozen, cut into small cubes
7 ounces cold buttermilk, plus more for brushing tops

For this recipe, I have swapped maida & refined sugar with whole wheat flour & jaggery, and trust me when I say this, every bite is just soo good ????????????????

INGREDIENTS
????4 tbsp ghee
????4 tbsp jaggery powder
????1/2 cup whole wheat flour
????1/4 tsp baking soda
????2 tbsp cocoa powder
????1 tsp cornflour
????2 tbsp milk
Topping- dark chocolate chips
METHOD
1. In a glass bowl add ghee and jaggery powder and mix them well until they are nicely combined.
2. To thIs add whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and corn flour. Mix this well and your cookie dough will reach a coarse consistency.
3.To this, add the milk. Give it one final mix and bring the dough together.
Once the cookie dough is ready, divide it and shape it into two cookies.Let them rest in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
4.Pre heat your oven to 180 degree Celsius.
Once rested, place your cookies on a baking tray lined with a silicon mat and top them with chocolate chips.
5. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes. Once the cookies are out of the oven, sprinkle some sea salt on top and let them cool completely
