How To make Bill's Burgers
3/4 c Lentils
uncooked
2 c :
water
1 md Onion -- sliced
pn Cayenne pepper 1 t Basil, dried
1 t Mustard, Dijon
1 tb Soy sauce
3 tb Vinegar, apple cider
5 1/2 oz V-8 vegetable juice, low-
-sodium 1 c Cornmeal or corn flour,
-finely ground 2 c Potatoes coarsely grated
4 Garlic cloves :
minced
1/4 c Parsley -- finely chopped
Heat grill or preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place lentils and water in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add onion, cayenne, black pepper and basil. Continue cooking for 15 minutes. In a medium size bowl, mix mustard and soy sauce until smooth. Add vinegar and vegetable juice and mix well. Add cornmeal and stir to combine. Set aside. Add potatoes to lentil mixture and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add garlic, parsley and cornmeal mixture to lentil mixture, and cook for 3 minutes stirring contantly. Remove from heat and set aside until cool enough to handle. Form mixture into patties and grill over hot coals or bake in oven on a lightly oiled aking sheet for 25 minutes, turning once. Per serving: 186 cal; 8 g prot; 79 mg sod; 34 g carb; 3 g fat. 0 chol; 35 mg calcium

Easy Beyond Burger Clone - Plant Based Burger Recipe
Easy Beyond Burger Clones. Let's make a plant based burger at home. I saw something like this on another channel called Sauce Stache. I'm a fan of Sauce Stache, as are many of you I'm sure. I love how creative and scientific he gets with making vegan meat alternatives and his Beyond Meat burger recipe is no different. I do however prefer to cut some fat and sodium from our diet, so I decided to try to make Sauce Stache's Beyond burger clone recipe, but lower in fat and sodium. So... how is my version of the Beyond burger?
Ingredients:
1 Cup (100 grams) Textured Vegetable Protein:
1 teaspoon Beet Root Powder:
2 Tablespoons Methyl Cellulose:
1.5 Tablespoons (15 grams) Pea Protein Powder:
1.5 teaspoons Mushroom Seasoning:
1 Tablespoon Nutritional Yeast:
1 gram Garlic Powder:
1 gram Onion Powder:
Fresh Black Pepper to Taste
1 Tablespoon Low Sodium Soy Sauce:
1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar:
1 Cup Cold Water
1/2 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

INGREDIENTS
Quick special sauce:
1/4 cup each of mayo, yellow mustard, maple and ketchup
Zest and juice of one small orange and lime
¼ cup pickled jalapeño
A splash of sherry vinegar
Burgers:
2 lb ground boneless chuck
1 lb ground sirloin
½ lb ground bacon
1 tsp each onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme
2 Tbsp dried shitake powder
¼ c Worcestershire sauce
Garnish:
American cheese
Butter pickles
Potato Rolls
RECIPE
In a bowl, combine all ingredients for sauce. Set aside until ready to assemble.
In a separate bowl, combine meat and then fold in spices, shitake powder and Worcestershire sauce. Divide into thin patties.
Cook patties over medium-high heat in a cast iron skillet or griddle top. Layer 2 patties with a slice of cheese between them.
Top with shaved onion and bread and butter pickles. Serve on a potato roll burger.
