HOW TO Make BEER BREAD with RASPBERRY BUTTER!! ONLY 5 Ingredients! | Paulette’s Eat’s
Beer bread:
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry heat 1/2 cup warm water 4 1/2 cups flour 12 oz. Can of beer 1 1/2 teaspoons salt Dutch oven
Raspberry Butter:
1 stick of salted butter 2 dollops raspberry or strawberry jam
Add all beer bread ingredients together in a mixer with a dough hook and mix until it forms a dough ball and has cleaned the sides of the bowl. Knead in mixer for an Additional 5 minutes.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rise somewhere warm until doubled. About 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven with a Dutch oven inside to 425 degrees.
After the first rise, remove dough and place on a parchment sheet paper and form the dough into a ball, place dough in the middle of the parchment paper with the smooth dough on top and place dough with parchment back into the bowl to do a second rise. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise again until doubled, about another hour to 2 hours.
Once done with the second rise, take parchment out of the bowl and lance the top of the dough to allow room for rising as the bread bakes.
Place parchment into a heated Dutch oven and place the lid on and bake for 30 minutes, then remove lid and bake another 5-10 minutes until golden brown!
Let cool before slicing. Store leftover bread in a ziplock bag.
To make Raspberry Butter:
In a small bowl add softened butter and jam and mix together. Store leftovers in the fridge covered.
