How To make Barbecued Spareribs 3
3 1/2 lb Pork ribs 12 ts Freshly ground black
pepper 2 ts Salt
TANGY BARBECUE SAUCE:
1 1/2 tb Peanut oil 1 tb Orange zest
2 tb Finely chopped shallots 2 tb Chinese chili
bean sauce OR 2 tb Finely chopped scallions 2 ts Satay paste
1 tb Finely chopped garlic 2 ts Tomato paste
1 tb Finely chopped fresh ginger 1 ts Chinese white rice vinegar
2 tb Fine chopped fresh cilantro - or cider vinegar
3 tb Finely chopped fresh chiles 1/2 c Orange juice
2 tb Rice wine or dry sherry 1 1/2 tb Light soy sauce
3 tb Hoisin sauce 1 1/2 tb Dark soy sauce
2 tb Sugar 1 ts Salt
2 ts Chinese sesame oil 1 ts Freshly ground
black pepper PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 250F. Salt and pepper the pork ribs evenly and place in a baking dish and cook for 2 hours to render the fat and tenderize the meat. Remove the ribs from the dish, drain the fat and set aside. Heat a wok or large frying pan and add the oil. Quickly add the shallots, scallions, ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for 20 seconds and add the rest of the sauce ingredients. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce gently for 15 minutes. Allow the sauce to cool. (These steps can be done hours ahead or even the night before.) When you are ready to cook the ribs, smear them with the barbecue sauce. Make a charcoal fire and, when the coals are ash white, grill the ribs, basting with any remaining sauce. Cook the ribs for 5-to-10 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Serve immediately.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Ribs - Fall Off The Bone BBQ Ribs Recipe
How to make bbq ribs in the slow cooker? Search no more cos these ribs are so tender and deliciously slow cooked, they fall right off the bone.
INGREDIENTS
3 and 1/2 lbs Ribs
3 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoon chilli powder
2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon thyme
salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup barbecue sauce
Brief Instruction
Ribs must be cut into equal halves to fit slow cooker
Remove membrane from ribs and pat dry with paper towel
Combine all spices and season both sides of ribs
Place 1 half of ribs into slow cooker then pour/spread with half of the barbecue sauce
Place the other half of ribs into the slow cooker then pour/spread with remaining bbq sauce
slow cook on low for 8 hours

Simple Filipino- style bbq pork ribs simmered in an easy homemade barbecue sauce. With no oven or grill and with only a few ingredients. Seared the ribs then add the mixed barbecue sauce plus water in a wok or cooking pot and let them slow cooked for 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours until the pork ribs is tender. The resulting pork ribs were so tender and the sauce is thick and flavourful. Serve with rice or corn on the cob. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2kg pork ribs, cut into serving portions
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 small size lemon or 3 pieces calamansi
- 1/2 cup banana ketchup
- 1/4 cup bbq marinade ( mama sita's bbq marinade or you can use any brand of your choice )
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 3 to 4 drops worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons sugar ( adjust to your taste )
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 1/2 cups water ( add more if needed )
- 2 pieces dried chili ( adjust to your taste )
* Slow cooked on low heat for 11/2 to 2 hours until the ribs is tender.
