SCOTTISH CROWDIE CHEESE RECIPE -
These traditional Scottish mealie bannocks are the kind of thing I can imagine being cooked up in Huntly castle when it was full of life in Aberdeenshire. The recipe originates from the Aberdeenshire area and makes a hearty snack for the family.
You can serve them up with jams, crowdie cheese, Scottish cheddar or even some smoked trout and smoked salmon pate.
