How To make Banana Bread w/Apple Sauce

2 1/2 c All purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 c Natural apple sauce
1 c Granulated sugar
3 Egg whites
4 Very large ripe bananas;
-peeled & mashed (2 c) 1 ts Vanila
1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Spray an 8x4x3" loaf pan with non-stick
cooking spray. 2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Set aside.
3. In a alarge mixing bowl, whisk together apple sauce, sugar, egg whites,
banana and vanilla. Add flour mixture all at once and stir gently to blend. 4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until
knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool bread completely before slicing. Note: Loaf can be wrapped tightly and stored for up to one week or frozen for up to 2 months. Here's my recipe for it. Simple ingredients you can find in your local store. No fancy nor complicated ingredients, you can come up with a nice and moist banana bread in your own kitchen. Yes!! In your kitchen!!
I used to pay $8 for a loaf of choco banana bread from Whole Foods (shout out WF! You guys make the best Chocolate Banana Bread! ????)
I love their super moist and rich banana bread so much it was driving me to bankruptcy ????????
But not anymore!!!
Until I created my own recipe for a super yummy and moist banana bread.
Always add YOGURT and apple sauce or grated apples in your banana bread recipe! Trust me, It will make a whole lot of difference! The kids looove to bring it to school for snack. NUT FREE! so it's safe to bring to school you guys! ????

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/8 tsp of salt (or a pinch)
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3 over riped bananas *
2 eggs
1/2 cup apple sauce **
1/4 cup plain yogurt
125ml vegetable oil
Bake at 350F for 50 minutes to 1 hour
*The riper the banana, the better and sweeter for this recipe. There's no need to mash the heck out of them. Just roughly mash them, it adds more moist to the bread.
** I used an apple sauce in this video. But you can also peel 1 apple and grate it, I have done it many times. The outcome is sooo good. Bananas and apple in your bread! Yum!

Banana Bread Recipe from Karen Singbeil:
3 to 4 mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 tsp sea salt
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. cane sugar (you can use white, brown, if you like and 1/2 cup of total sugar if you aren't using maple syrup)
1/4 c. Maple Syrup
2 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/4 Cup Unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp cinnamon
Mash Bananas and throw everything else in and mix , coat pan with non stick spray , coconut oil or butter.
Bake in Pre-Heated oven 350F for 45 min to 1 hour depends on your oven stick in tooth pick or knife and when it comes out clean it is done.
**If it starts browning too much put a sheet a tin foil on and finish baking.
As of September 2018 I have been on Keto and have made a delicious keto friendly banana bread recipe like this but honestly tastes even better imho if you look in my KETO playlists for bakery recipes.

This is such a simple and yummy vegan banana bread recipe! It's virtually fool proof, requires very little hands on time and best of all - it's healthy as it uses apple sauce instead of oil.
Ingredients:
DRY
1 3/4 cup gluten free flour (or use pastry whole wheat flour if not gluten free)
1/3 cup rapadura or coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarb soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
WET
4 small ripe bananas, mashed (or 3 large)
1/3 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup plant milk
1 tsp vanilla essence or paste
ADD INS
1/2 cup pecan or walnut pieces or chocolate chips (optional)
Bake on 180 degrees Celcius for 50-60 minutes.
